Last Notes npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…u76z Sounds like next year' April Fool's book. How to use SNMP for your CD catalog or similar or Howto over engineer what should have been an SQLite DB. npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…u76z But its not you and your characteristic flare. I can understand not duplicating efforts. Have to wonder though all those C learning books (aka tomes) in the 1990's, when there was only one true source - K&R 2e. If you can't topple the current crown just call matte 🥋 . npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…u76z How about a book covering something still very useful across many platforms, tmux. Every time I look at the man page there seems to be something new I could have used. npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…u76z For Canadian's don't you transport the books over the border to Canada Post? An unplanned outage during maintenance seems odd - has to be human error (like cooking toast or falling onto power mains terminals). npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…8x0h That's not a good sign for a data centre you'd expect to provide 5-9s uptime. No industrial UPS, no generator? If a professional data centre looses power such that client machines shutdown (unless you're in the charity / staff rack that isn't covered) that's a worry. npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 Primarily a C Developer ( but not just that, I haz skillz ) looking for full time job or long contract; know #NetBSD, #FreeBSD, even #OpenBSD, some #Linux when I have to. npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…q5wq I thought the rabbits were dining on your gardens? For myself as an asthmatic, prolonged wearing of a mask can have an equally negative effect impeding being able to breath normally. Masks only protect you spreading germs like a cold, flu, covid, bad breath... Won't stop you getting sick; more likely from surface contact to hands to eyes/nose. If anything masks should be voluntary. I would love to go BSDCan, but required masking for the duration not worth the extreme discomfort. npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…q5wq Or you can specify IP literal as domain [2001:db8::bd42:8975:8156:c112]:80 npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…xm42 To by-pass Google's search AI on the fly, just swear in the search words, like "shit f**k what is Ai" npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…q5wq Or laughing while drinking and blowing it out the nose. So many stories of IoT bricking doors, lights, fridges, stoves, ... coffee machines. npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…q5wq npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…q5wq npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…q5wq npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…q5wq npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…sdaw @nprofile…prx0 npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…sdaw @nprofile…prx0 npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…prx0 @nprofile…sdaw npub17md3nllyl60xmac8hpgp8fepwfmtx762x24ws808wm5lfw76ns7svadyem SirWumpus 🍁⚔️🚀 @nprofile…sdaw Can NetBSD do anything to BAN GNU info pages and restore sanity to man.
