Ik vind het knap dat jij dit allemaal bij houd Sjors. En dat je er energie in wil steken. Ik houd weinig meer bij van het Nederlandse niruwe en onze politiek, vooral omdat ik er weinig mee kan en mij enkel meer zorgen maak over de toekomst.
Ik heb een hele tijd niet begrepen (of gevoeld) waarom een aantal van onze nederlandse noderunners vertrokken zijn om de exit tax voor te zijn. Het leek mij niet logisch om gewoon weg te gaan in plaats van iets proberen te veranderen. Sinds een aantal maanden kan ik me er goed in verplaatsen.

It's basic textbook knowledge that people don't care about how your solution works (Nostr) but they care about their problems (solved by functionality), and emotions (branding).
If all apps are opensource and every functionality can be copied and implemented within a few hours by a coding agent, apps can't really differentiate in functionality.
That just leaves branding and marketing to the correct product-market fit.

Anyone can use a protocol however they want. Things will be as interoperable as they are mutually beneficial.

I can produce a keypair for 'all' YT channel, and publish 'every' video as a kind 21/22 eventswith YT url. incl metadata. That will give us a database to select, permit, rate, trust, etc. Downside would be YT embedded players in the feed. which can be partially disabled.

Some yes.
We went back and forth on the content kickstart problem.
In an ideal future all video content is hosted on blossom servers.
But for now I set a default followpack to populate the feed. This followpack contain a few handpicked youtube channels converted to keypairs with kind 21/22 events publishing YT URLs
Needs a better solution for sure.

There's no moderation algorythm in that sense.
Currently you can build a feed from people, followpacks, communities, and relay firehoses. Potentially these can be selected from WoT service providers.
Within the next week we will have our TEPP implementation ready. This will enable the parent to define a bubble of view-only and interact persissions for people, places and events, and extend this bubble by adding another person's permission bubble.
