How many wallets is too many wallets?
In fiat land I carry a physical wallet but just one. Of course my Bitcoin, lighting, or cashu wallets is more akin to an individual card. My physical wallet there are 15 cards that give me vary access to fiat or debt along with dollars.
I’m no where near this amount of non physical wallets and I’m not sure I would want to be.

Initially I want to ask for more context here.
However I think you would start to see zombie companies fail and people be out of jobs, rather quickly, looking for someone to bail them out. With the governments unable to help with bitcoin. They either have to start with fiat and enforcing that people take it. If the did not there would be a huge uprising and new states built.
Even if people are using it voluntarily doesn’t mean they understand what it is and the responsibility they need to take personally if it is all there is. People wallets might change but it is the mindset that is most important.

Agreed that reposts tend towards zero. However I don’t think it’s fair to casually brush off the reputational costs especially if here if we view the overall goal is a digital identity with no “KYC”. My car is a 2009. I’m the second owner and total mileage is 168,456. Recently it broke down and I was unable to use it for about 6 days.
While I live in an urban area it really wasn’t an issue I was able to progress through life with slightly less convenience until I was able to get it repaired.
For many who live in the United States a car is considered a common good. Most people’s lives would be come more difficult, even if just slightly such as my case.
Car ownership comes with its own set of requirements. As they are a consumed good they require maintenance, gas, insurance and such. All of which require a persons time, value, and knowledge in the subject area.
Everyone now has this same choice with their money. We previously had to use the government’s choice of money. With bitcoin your money can become more convenient. To have obtain this convenience it will cost time and some knowledge in the subject area. Eventually people will come to understand that this is worth it.
Most people need to understand the convenience or peace of mind of actually owning your money just as one owns a car. Is it all frills and thrills no but is a clear improvement on your individual freedom.
