@npub1f94…x6g2 mentioned it's not usage per se; data analysts usually see Cloudflare or other data like ping requests and web traffic.
It is AI bots. That's why we also see OSX and macOS discrepancies.
Without Linux telemetry, it is very hard to measure it. I am of the belief that #Linux already has a significant market share but no data to validate.

I appreciate the constant reminders because, like the majority of consumers, we couldn't care less about the upcoming Pixel devices
As @npub1f94…x6g2 recently mentioned, over a decade in their OEM journey and millions of dollars in marketing, they still have a lower market share than TCL

Apple have been pushing Apple Intelligence during the previous device launches
iPhones were literally marketed as built for AI. They don't have a good product; that's why they mellowed down.
And without the AI hype, the Mac minis would not have sold that much to begin with.

What did I miss during my hiatus? Nothing too important, I guess ;)
#Apple WWDC: Golden Gate is Snow Leopard
Lewis/Ferrari winning in #F1
Toyota is so back, winning Le Mans in #WEC
New Glenn kaboom, ISS Leak and SpaceX IPO in #space
etcetera
Anyways, how have y'all been?
