What a ridiculous episode of Dragon Ball Daima.
A throwaway filler story and it looks amazing, better than anything else in the entire show so far. Movie quality, easily, aside from one instance of badly placed music.
Meanwhile last episode looked like shit and it was a mid series climax. Wtf is going on? This is what I was expecting at the beginning from the way this production was hyped up.
Next episode is looking good and fillery too by the preview. Why so much filler in a 2 cour show?

@nprofile…7733 Dan Da Dan was great. Mob Psycho 100 was one of the best action cartoons ever made. Dragon Ball is in the middle of its first good sequel since the 90's. One Piece is still going and it's a sakuga generator.
The industry has literally never been better than it is right now, probably ever
The 80's and 90's had a charming flare but it's not the end all be all of anime. The rough phase of the late 2000's and 2010's is over. Things are going well.

Steins;Gate manga is interesting. 500 pages for the original series and 1500 for the sequel.
I don't have the original yet but this actually makes a lot of sense bc it's a focused story, whereas the sequel is more like a disorganized lore dump containing multiple stories.
I hope they made the sequel longer so they could organize it better and not for some stupid reason.

SimpleX works well most of the time and it's supposedly easy to self host. There's also Keychat which is the Signal protocol on NOSTR but it has the same problem as everything on NOSTR where your identity can be easily hijacked and once it is you're pretty much SOL.
Maybe Matrix too but I have problems with the leeway it provides with key management

I got JoJo, and I was feeling nostalgic so I got two Assassin's Creed volumes, and they had a Steins;Gate 0 manga, which I hated the anime and VN of, but the ideas were promising enough for me to try another adaptation.
I was tempted by Dan Da Dan bc the anime ended in such a weird way but I hated everything after the 1st arc so decided not to bother.
