Was at my #lcs over lunch and spotted this reprint on the shelf. The New Teen Titans is what got me into comics as a kid. My kids grew up on the cartoon network show. Hoping they get some joy out of reading this artifact.
These days I read horror, sci fi and fantasy titles, rarely anything where the characters wear capes, cowls, knee high boots or underwear on the outside. But this is a nice piece of #nostalgia

Can any of the dudes named Ben / dudettes named Bernadette out there recommend an 8 port switch for home use?
Power drop and restart just took out an old Netgear 4 port. I have a ubiquity 4 port switch that's behind my cable modem, but it's a bottleneck. Want to replace it with an 8 port.
I bought Netgear and LinkSys and all the usual consumer brands when I didn't know any better. Then bought ubiquity, base on recommendation.

I worked at the campus radio station when that song came out. It was played repeatedly and loudly by every white boy who thought he was tough. I quickly grew sick of it
We got two copies of the CD into the station, so I made a big deal during my show of throwing one of discs out the third story window. Before my show was over some kind soul returned it because they thought someone "dropped it out the window"

My kids are both home for Christmas which is great, but they brought their pets so now there are two dogs and a cat in a house where normally there are none.

@npub1hdj…ck09 hey, #Disney did something right for one. They put the character in a box at the end of both AM3 and Loki S2. Guess they aren't all idealistic dreamers. Must be a pragmatist or two in there somewhere.
I'm sure in a few years they will bring the character back, recast with an African / Pacific Islander trans man. And then if Kathleen Kennedy is still around, they'll make he/him gay.

I'm diabetic and my A1C has been going up the last couple of years.
A year ago my endocrinologist was "concerned" and wanted to put me on Ozempic. I declined.
Today, A1C had gone up 0.5%, they "offered" me Ozempic again, I declined again.
So they discharged me from their care saying I didn't need to see a specialist anymore and I should see my PCP.
I'm not a profit center anymore, so they showed me the door.

Also provides a view of the brackets really supporting the shelf.

Took two months to complete, but I'm calling this project done. My wife spotted a "floating table" on Etsy, but the seller didn't offer anything big enough for this wall. It ain't perfect, but I learned a lot, including building myself a tapering jig for the legs.
