I love #bitcoin but I don't talk about it publicly, there are plenty of better accounts for that.
So I just post about things I find interesting and hope others would too.
I suggest having your interests as hashtags in your profile to make it easier to find compatible people, perhaps #nostr search also picks this up too?

You can look at the site details in your browser, F12 in Firefox, this may give you an idea of how 'heavy' that site is.
But it probably depends more on how busy / under attack the Tor network is.
I've noticed recently that some sites load incredibly quickly, so much so that I have to check that I am still using Tor.
