I only enable app search and have "Simple Search" installed and set as my default search assistant when long pressing the home button. @npub1q5l…ywp3 KISS is an awesome launcher. Lately I've been using Neo Launcher. It's got covers for folders, which should just be included with all launchers these days. The Neo Feed provider add-on is nice as well, now that they added my feature request for an article viewer vs opening feeds in the browser. @npub1r6d…tlkw

I don't think it will doing much good for the Fediverse, aside from maybe helping to onboard people to ther instances after they learn about it.

Testing Bluesky and got my domain linked, eventually. Trying to set my profile picture and banner isn't working out tho and I'm not sure why. I use the same images everywhere else that I use here. Slightly annoying but I doubt I'll find myself using Bluesky very often anyways. Fedi and Nostr are both superior, imo.

Augh. My dog is becoming picky with her food. I suppose if she hungry enough, she'll eat what is there. I don't want her to starve herself to eat tho. Not sure what happened with Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice but she went from loving it to not wanting to touch it and being super gassy when she does. She can't have wheat so a lot of the popular choices are not an option and I'm not looking to switch to a completely grain-free diet as there are health benefits gained from whole grains, regardless of what the internet wants to tell you. Ordering small bags of both Merrick and Evolve's Lamb & Rice offerings and a bag Taste of The Wild - Ancient Wetlands. She likes duck as mucj as she likes lamb. Hoping one of these 3 will meet her standards. 😂

People do eat bear. At least up here in Maine. I never have and don't intend to anytime soon. The only wild animal I have eastern is deer and moose, both beautiful animals themselves. I suppose this somewhat proves your point. While I do eat meat, I also agree that factory farming is a disgusting practice and is not how animals should live. At least with wild game, they lived the way nature intended.

I've used a Pinephone as a daily for a couple of years. Currently running Arch & Phosh. I've ran both PostmarketOS, Manjaro and Mobian for periods as well. Not a fan of KDE/Plasma on mobile or desktop.

Yeah I'vd just been keeping the cover on it and turning it on, touching her paws with it, letting her sniff and check it out. Just giving her praise and treats while she inspects it. I didn't need to trim during the warmer months because they would wear down while taking walks and she loves digging holes. They got a bit long over the winter months due to the ice covering the sidewalks.

Man, it's a pain trying to trim Maeves nails. I got her back ones done yesterday but she doesn't want me touching the front ones with the nail grinder. Gonna have to slowly get her comfortable with them. I've seen people pin their dogs down to so nails but I would never want to do it that way. I don't want her to be nervous or scared every time they need trimming.

Have you tried suggesting to the dev to adjust how it's handled? Maybe only hide post after a set amount of flags/complaints? Suggest another idea? He's responded to when asking about the lag issues present for some in Amethyst. I suggested maybe using a local database and a daemon for handling relay communication similar to Nostros vs loading everything into memory. May not work but it certainly won't hurt. I think most devs are willing to compromise and meet middle ground with end users.

It doesn't tho, just is collapsed and labeled as potentially inappropriate. You can click on it to expand it. Sounds similar to a content warning label on Fedi to me. Granted, the labelling wasn't put in place by you and may have been done automatically, the post is still there and easily accessible. Sounds like complaining to complain.

Also, you can always use a different client if you dislike how Amethyst behaves. I use Nostros. Not because I dislike Amethyst but because it just doesn't work well on my device. I don't really see how this is an issue tho. Seems like the content is just hidden and a simple click can display it? So basically like Nostrs equivalent of a content warning on Fedi?
