Apple just doesn't understand. Developers don't want a better way to port their games to Mac and all the Apple silliness. Players want a way to play the 10,000 windows games on a Mac. That will sell more Macs than anything else. You lost the gaming war. Make Proton for the Mac and sell a lot more Macs.

What puzzles my about the Adobe stuff is if I am not a PS user and I hire an artist that is, all my art IP is given to Adobe by the artist but the artist doesn't and the rights to do that. Adobe is gaining access to art the artist can't legally give.

I think the root is my problem is I'm generating floats from n-m. I needs it to be blazing fast and it can't use any libs because I need 100% consistency across platforms.

My pseudo-random number generator produces good results over time, but seems to have odd spikes and produces very "un-random" sequences. It's not a one-off, it's consistently wrong. Math is hard.

I don't get World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic. Cataclysm is where WoW started to go off the rails. What I really really want is a new WoW Classic expansion, not a rehash of everything that made us want Classic in the first place. After Lich King would have been the perfect place.

Tried to play Tunic today. First thing it does is try to connect to the internet. I blocked it (as I always do) and it just quits. No message, just won't run. If your game has a valid reason to connect to the internet, tell me otherwise I assume it's just to track me.

Watching @npub1tyu…8th3 talk on the 6502 made me very teary-eyed nostalgic for making SCUMM on the C64. SCUMM was all developed and compiled on the LFL mainframes so I don’t have any backups, but I’d love to see that 6502 code again. There was a time I lived in 6502.
