> I can’t understand how we got to this place with “app culture”
We haven't. We were forcibly and thoroughly pushed to this place. It was time ca. 10 years ago with this plague, when literally any business believed it needs an "app". For whatever, even if it is was never really needed - but if you were a serious business, you know, you should have made an app and made your customers use it (by discounts, for example). And then, I guess, the regularly folks just become taught in that way.

@nprofile…4e0k You spread claims which are quite questionable at the least, and essentially support the @nprofile…dymg mentions of quite biased views carefully tailored and spread within some communities.
First of all, there was no functioning state of Ukraine at the moment, nor de facto existing Baltic republics.
"with fascist provisional governments"
Nope. They were ruled by *German* occupation governments.
So called "Banderists" were one fraction of guerrilla activities in the land (mostly on a lesser part of it) along with other national(ist) fractions, as well as communist units. The latter were not less questionable guys btw, as the events were happening ca. 10 years after artificial famine deliberately organized by commies in Ukraine and ca. 5 years after the peak of the stalinist terror. Any liberal democrats had been already either murdered or expelled from the country.
People collaborating with the enemy exist in each country and war, as well as crazy people, serial killers etc.
A propo "Banderites" - I hope you know where Bandera, the guy after whom they were named, has spent the war.
And yes details matter.

@nprofile…dymg "Yet ironically, old Orthodox Church books are written in an archaic language that is very similar to modern Ukrainian, but not modern Russian" ehm, that is kind of imprecise, Church Slavonic mostly originates from South Slavic dialects (Cyrill and Methodius originated somewhere from Macedonia AFAIR).

@nprofile…dymg The funniest thing would be if false assumptions will actually lead Germany to a precisely correct direction. There are two main problems with nuclear generation: (1) there are morons on this planet ready to bomb the plants (as we figured out from 2022 onwards) and (2) there is literally handful of suppliers of nuclear fuel assemblies ready to use in the plants in the whole world, and AFAIR no one of them is German (and fixing that has been complicated by historical reasons until, essentially, now).
AFAIR Ukraine needed around a decade to start switching from Russian fuel to American one, and there was even extra research necessary. The dirtiest coal is tremendously easier in that regard.

All the best to the russian corruption. Each ton of fuel sold by praporshchik Spizdiajev on the black market is an improvement for Ukrainian forces.

@nprofile…ks6m sorry, but this is bullshit. EU again behaves like a shy pussy. Real folks with balls would announce an exodus from twitter immediately, and start implementing measurements to prevent twitter from earning money in Europe. Ukraine did the same with russian Vkontakte network - yes, there was a kind of yelling in that regard, but a couple of years to communicate in vkontakte mysteriously became as poor idea as... I don't know... fart in public? Like, not criminal, but something not normally deemed acceptable from a healthy adult in economically active age, to be polite...
