For #EU and #US people that think that when #trump leave office it will be better, i tend to make you remember that bush privacy invasive law, and trump violation of sovereinty (cloud act), where not reversed when they leaved office.
So #us will stay #ennemy of #democracy and it's own #law for a looooong time #even more with their corrupt justice elected for LIFE.

@nprofile…zt0y https://bgp.tools/dns/molly.im (i checked it as we actually check all our repository), also have you considered a mirror (at the minimum) of github on service like codeberg.
That would allow us European and people that don"t like the AI push of Microslop to checkout your sources, and use your release outside of github.
thanks

@nprofile…8d0p in that case it seem your AS do not show up in the bgp toolkit, witch is an issue too :/
Maybe too recent ?, in any case could be a good idea to see why they don't show your AS
edit: i say it's also an issue because allowing user to verify security work is a good practice, and in the past helped detect when a system bug and disable security mechanism.

Of course @nprofile…zt0y and @nprofile…0r00 both use Fastly, that don't have DNSSEC or RPKI validation.
Why did i expect security focussed project to care about the security of their domain / netowrk in the user release mechanism.

so @nprofile…8d0p your ASN contrary of what you said previously do NOT filter RPKI ?

we need a new generation of #privacy and #security app.
Until now app all used US, germany or switzerland to do this.
We need new app that can be selfhosted and "join" toguether to make an unstoppable network, so big tech and governement cannot steal our security / privacy
We need to do what was done when E2EE was created to prevent them to snoop in our conversation back in the day
App like signal are outdated, can be shut down at will by USA

@nprofile…f9sr maybe add a switch for user that show concern over an US used server (for instance i would hate to start to use US one (even if i understand why)).
i would even prefer 100% canada than a single US (if possible), also why not contacting server that already sponsor other service (like dnscry.pt) who know one may be generous in those holiday.
Maybe advance one month of a new EU one and ask for a donation to make a "temporary" service while asking the said sponsor ?

@nprofile…hl0a at that point anyone that do not leave github ask for it.
It's been year we push people to move out, my own company moved out and use @nprofile…vfv4 on our own infrastructure.
So now anyone that have this kind of thing, it's their fault, by not leaving they signal microsoft it's OK move, so they will continue

@nprofile…0ux3 do you intent do make (if other relay agree) to select the nearest one (in speed / ping time) as default ?
So you avoid to have a massive server as default and tiny other server ?

@nprofile…f9sr from what i read 3 possibility, they messed up the settings (clearly writen on your website installation, by not relocking the booloader).
Or the person whom they have send the message to is the one to have snitched on them (or the cops extracted data from their device), and this dumbass think it his phone that broke.
Or it's someone paid to lie.
In any case it's fake, as even the best security reasearcher i know don't manage to broke graphene if it's set properly and up to date.

@nprofile…hzyj what many brits also forget, it's that, UK politics may promise a "reset" we (european) need to agree or no reset!.
So following blindly 1 politician promice is ... repeating the mistake that lead to Uk voting brexit

@nprofile…f9sr So if i understand corretly the OEM excuse is "we cannot do it in time" when Graphene a community project do it ?
for me it's an excuse to justify they (OEM) don't have enough people assigned to the maintenance part of the OS
