Been hitting the various 90’s playlists on Spotify myself recently rediscovering stuff I’d totally forgotten about. Funny how one song can transport you back in time….

Wondering how many ways I can break stuff if I remove the master fuse and energize the left hand side power window circuit via the fuse holder to get the windows up…..

2026-01-22 03:13:41 GMT

Gah. Knowing the why of the broken is frustrating when the ‘how to resolve’ is unknown.
Left hand side power windows on the car just gave out. Obviously whilst in the down position.
Fault is that that circuit is getting no power-fuse is fine, multimeter shows only 1V instead of the 12V the rest of the system gets (and also checked)

This one’s hard to get a great photo of-very high level of silver glittery bits in the paper and the edge looks grey but is very silvery to match.

source a nice scotch and some soda water.
In a highball glass pour two fingers of the rum.
In a seperate highball glass pour a finger of scotch. Add soda water and ice to the second highball glass.
Drink the scotch and soda then remember the rum and tip it either in the sink or back in the bottle depending on dexterity levels after that delicious scotch and soda.

Caved to better judgement and bought an AppleTV. Worked well this week-until tonight. Absolutely now refuses to play anything. Various ‘fixes’ of restarting it, restarting the TV it connects to, swapping (the perfectly fine until tonightHDMI cable) to another-all for naught. POS is going back tomorrow for refund. It’s not obvious from this angle but this rather large gum developed an alarming lean from the winds from the cyclone, and the road it would potentially fall across is quite a major one so I suspect that the chipper, work crew and the large, large cherry picker that just pulled in are going to spend today bringing it down.
