Quit waiting for permission to dismantle their datacenter/surveilance state archecture.
Stop using Microsoft, Facebook, Google en masse.
Divest from the carbon industry and corporations like Home Depot, Palentir, Tesla ect. that support this regime.

Turns out phosphorous is quite happy being in solution. Not easily seperated from water, phosphorus capture remains elusive at industrial scales. The process of extrtaction is made all the more difficult by it's relative scarcity in wastewater. Yes, millions of tons of it circulate through our wastewater treatment systems, but at concentrations of a few parts per billion.
No matter how you dice the problem it turns out to be energy intensive. Meaning nutrient reclamation becomes an energy question. The provenance of that energy bears upon the tradeoffs in any solution.
A thousand pounds of replacement ruZZian phosphorous are themselves worthless if they are made alongside a million tons of CO2. Especially if their being recaptured in some country that sources it's blood-oil from that same death cult nation.

Upstream water use changes compounded with prolonged drought to sink the value of the currency. Date sales could do nothing to offset the increased cost of domestic crop failures.
