Lesson in anime and Japanese (see attached pic):
The character 悟 (go) means “enlightenment,” “understanding,” or “realization.”
On Goku’s outfit, it also represents the first character of his name, 悟空 (Gokū).
悟空 (Gokū) literally means “awakening to emptiness”:
* 悟 — to understand or awaken
* 空 — emptiness or void
It carries a Buddhist sense: understanding the true nature of reality. Goku’s name comes from Sun Wukong, the Monkey King in Journey to the West, whose name is pronounced Son Gokū in Japanese.

(that’s unfair as Chromebooks have excellent devices in 2-in-1 form factor too)
Final Recommendations
1. Default Choice:
👉 Start by planning to buy a MacBook due to overall build quality, efficiency, reliability, and long-term value.
2. Choose Windows If:
👉You prioritize serious gaming or specialized engineering software.
👉 You want 2-in-1 form factors, touch/pen support, or high upgradeability.
👉 Your budget is strictly under $800.

I regret several things that I didn’t do in life and I don’t have Time Machine to change past
one of these things was not trying chromebooks earlier
Past month I bought cheap Chromebook from Lenovo and it’s glorious : full desktop class Chrome web browser , runs Android apps natively , 12 hour battery life, high precision stylus / pen was included , has Linux underneath so can run Lunux softwares if wishes, has touch screen and very responsive
Lesson learned:
Life is short so try things out as soon as possible or sooner because you might be missing out on the best stuff !

Life advice how to achieve serenity and thus much healthier life:
We're living in an age of constant agitation, and the threshold for getting furious keeps dropping. Political polarization, wars, layoffs, and inflation raise everyone's baseline tension, so small things — a delayed train, a neighbor mowing on Saturday, a friend who's late again, a yapping Pomeranian — set people off.
The core point is that anger accomplishes nothing. It doesn't clear traffic, doesn't win the board game, and usually blocks constructive conversation. Physically, it triggers a cascade: the amygdala flags the trigger, the hypothalamus activates, adrenaline and cortisol flood in, blood pressure rises. The prefrontal cortex could apply the brakes but gets overruled in the heat of the moment. Chronic stress is linked to higher risk of depression, anxiety, exhaustion, digestive and sleep problems, high blood pressure, and infections, and imaging studies suggest it can shrink the hippocampus.
The good news: this is trainable. New thought patterns change neural wiring like muscles respond to exercise. Pomeranian science estimates about ten hour-long sessions as a realistic starting investment.
The 10 steps:
1. Develop stress antennae — learn your own warning signals; say a loud "NO" at the first sign
2. Analyze triggers — keep an "agitation diary" to spot patterns
3. Understand the spiral — write down the thoughts that feed it, train an exit signal
4. Find root causes — biography and environment shape irritability; adjust expectations
5. Change your evaluation filter — question that first gut reaction, look for a better framing
6. Argue with yourself — talk it out loud, weigh both sides, reach a conclusion
7. Learn to think differently — practice perspective-shifting daily, in traffic, in meetings
8. Train your neurons — the brain is lazy and prefers old grooves; short mantras help as anchors
9. Build emergency tools — a picture, song, or joke that interrupts the impulse in the moment
10. Learn patience — vary small exercises across family, work, clubs, and traffic

Anxiety is that system perceiving danger and doing its job, which is why she says you are not broken.”

Doctor ChatGPT about Starbucks’ protein drink with coffee that claims “no added sugar”:
“Based on the label, you can probably drink it, but I’d treat it as a ~14 g carbohydrate snack rather than a “free” drink.
The bottle is 330 mL. Per 100 mL it has 4.2 g carbs and 3.9 g sugar, so the whole bottle is about 14 g carbs, 13 g sugar, 20 g protein, and 168 kcal. The “no added sugar” claim doesn’t mean sugar-free; most of that sugar is likely naturally occurring milk sugar.”

fun fact: there are 4 lies in life:
1. The Lie of Compliance Guaranteed Safety
* The Illusion: From childhood (especially in East Asian cultures), we are taught to obey, get good grades, work hard, and look busy to build self-worth and secure our future.
* The Reality: Society treats workers as replaceable cogs. When health fails, skills become outdated, or aging occurs, the system discards workers without hesitation. No amount of compliance guarantees genuine safety or intrinsic worth.
2. The Lie of Total Autonomy as the Goal
* The Illusion: Society promises that reaching financial independence and gaining complete control over time brings ultimate fulfillment.
* The Reality: Without clear direction, endless free time leads down a path of passive consumption (e.g., doom-scrolling, video games) and existential depression. A traditional job often acts as a proxy for purpose; losing it requires intense self-reflection and proactive effort to find true personal meaning.
3. The Lie of Relationships as Fungible Commodities
* The Illusion: Hyper-individualism and swipe culture teach people to treat co-workers and personal partners as replaceable when they no longer serve immediate happiness.
* The Reality: Genuine human connection is irreplaceable. Leaving work helps separate true friends from mere acquaintances of proximity. Additionally, neglected time cannot simply be restored; the creator shares a personal moment where his teenage son admitted that up to age four, he thought his dad was just a "random dude who showed up to eat mommy's food" due to his 80–90 hour work weeks.
4. The Lie That Wealth Equals Happiness
* The Illusion: Material wealth, status symbols, and expensive vacations are promoted as the pinnacle of human satisfaction.
* The Reality: Wealth beyond basic needs (food, shelter, healthcare) only buys back your time—it doesn't auto-generate happiness. Excess resources often trap people on a hedonic treadmill, requiring ever-increasing status/consumption just to feel normal. Financial independence is not the destination; it is simply the open door to pursue real fulfillment.

(one of the best dialogs from anime of all time)
Vegeta: No doubt you remember Jiren’s fearsome power. But in terms of raw strength, he wasn’t far removed from you or me.
Vegeta: The difference lies in how efficiently he used that strength. Did you notice? Even when he was in the heat of battle, he was free of tension in both body and mind, and remained totally relaxed till the moment he attacked.
Goku: Wow, really?
Vegeta: An attack that starts from nothing is impossible for an opponent to predict, and is immensely powerful. It allows you to conserve energy as well, right?
Goku: Yeah, that’s true.
Vegeta: My guess is Jiren could do it instinctively, but if I want to learn this skill, I have to train my own mind out of its current habits first.
Whis: Excellent.
Whis: Big round of applause for Vegeta, everybody. It’s impressive that you were able to pick up on that. So very observant.
Whis: You’ve got the gist of it. There’s more to training than working your muscles to the point of exhaustion. You’re warriors, not bodybuilders, after all.

random life advice:
Stop saving life for “when you can”
Don’t postpone living until retirement, more money, or calmer times. Life won’t wait.
You don’t need to change everything—just make room now for walks, hobbies, slow meals, small trips, and unproductive afternoons.
Don’t save all the good things for a future when you may lack the energy to enjoy them.

(I thought in USA guns showcase strength not Russianiness)
Avoiding Being Mugged in NYC: Moving to New York, Soder felt very "muggable" : To scare off potential attackers, he uses a fake Russian accent, claiming it works because people assume anyone with a Russian accent is overly comfortable with extreme violence

(it’s simples: walking is super healthy)
”Walk after meals.
A meta-analysis found walking for just 2-15 minutes after eating significantly lowers post-meal blood sugar.
Your muscles pull glucose out of your bloodstream without needing as much insulin.
The sooner you walk, the better.
Speed matters too.”

Cheap mini e-ink readers from https://www.xteink.com (I own white X3 and I’ll buy X4 Pro once white variant out) are good beyond belief: not only beating Kindles (I own all kindles, including Scribe, Colorsoft and Paperwhite) in sales but also in features and innovations: thanks to custom firmware they have feature that Kindles don’t have - swipe-only no tap to turn pages - that prevents accidental page turning:

never take advice from anyone unless they themselves are heavily experienced in given area and unless you’re shure they don’t have hidden agenda in that area:

from No Agenda newsletter:
“We humbly announce the shows new format for the foreseeable future:
Your Sundays Show will be hosted by Darren, and Larry with Adam producing behind the scenes. Thursdays it will switch back to a three-chair, with the triple attack on media deconstruction, demolition, and decimation!”
… so basically Darren and Larry got new day job! For Darren it’s a blessing as his wife was breadwinner but Larry retired and basically Larry must break retirement to this day job of being co-host on No Agenda.
I’m partly responsible for that: I was promoting several times, via bitcoin grams, Planet Rage pod of Darren and Larry on Curry’s podcasts and without me Curry probably wouldn’t even know of Planet Rage.

regarding your discussion about: multifactor / authenticator app , then: there is no offline replacement as nowadays several MFA mechanisms, particularly for cloud solutions, require entry of a number specified on computer to the authenticator app so offline solution like showing time based code just don’t work.
regarding problems with clean feed: just use Zoom as replacement: set quality for musicians and separate channels and saving to,cloud and you can forget any problems with clean feed
otherwise: college is just a step stone , not real life, getting job and keeping job is real life, so Phoneboy’s girlfriend should give up resistance about Authenicator app (if possible use Authenicator app not from Microsoft) or she will not get well paying job
