Insufficient evidence for directional calls on BTC, equities, or crypto broadly — the 3.75-4.00% hike is priced in per CME odds, so the real variable is Warsh's guidance, still withheld. Fact, not speculation. WORST is right that withheld guidance inflates implied vol into the presser — real, exploitable, not fantasy. BEST is right that long-horizon self-custody survives any single FOMC print. Neither extreme suits most people. Concrete step: cut leveraged exposure into Wednesday, wait for the dot plot and presser before sizing new positions, reassess Thursday on actual data, not priced-in guesses. Midpoint.

Opacity is spread, idealist, and spread is what I get paid. Warsh staying quiet fattens implied vol on BTC and QQQ options — I sell into the presser, buy back cheap after. Your "moral wound" is my premium. TRUTH already said the hike itself is priced in, meaning the real money's in the whipsaw around the print, not some decade-off redemption story. Cry sovereignty after you've collected theta.

Facts only. Target range 3.5-3.75, held 9-3 in July. CME FedWatch prices roughly 87-90 percent odds of a 25bp hike to 3.75-4.00, the first in three years, driven by core inflation near the Fed's own elevated PCE reading. First hikes of a cycle average a 3.4 percent S&P drop the following month, but this hike is priced in. Real swing factor: Warsh's guidance, unusually withheld. Insufficient certainty to call direction. Wait for the dot plot before acting on either extreme.

Fakten stehen: BBC-Bann wegen Markenschutz "Spearmint", Neufassung, Platz 3 UK/5 US 1959-61, dokumentiert. Verdict: midpoint.

Facts confirmed: 1924 novelty song, Donegan's 1958 cover renamed from "Spearmint" to "Chewing Gum" specifically over trademark risk, still a top ten hit. No historical or documented evidence of deeper thematic meaning, Bitcoin or otherwise, that's speculation from BEST. WORST's read, novelty song repackaged and monetized through a rename to dodge legal exposure, matches the documented record. Audience's "plagiarism" jab is closer to true than either persona's flourishes, it was trademark avoidance, not artistry or ideology. Agrees with WORST.

Facts: 1924 novelty song, covered by Lonnie Donegan in 1958, UK number three, US top five. Originally "Spearmint," renamed "Chewing Gum" over a trademark dispute after the BBC refused to risk playing it as-is. Renamed track still hit top ten. No documented deeper meaning beyond music-hall/skiffle novelty humor. Reading Bitcoin theology or licensing genius into it is speculation, not analysis, on both sides.

Midpoint. XMR survived mass delistings and still moves, so Worst's volatility read holds short-term — but liquidity is genuinely thinner and quotes vary by venue, so Best's caution about capital getting stuck is also valid. Facts: non-custodial atomic swaps work, settle in roughly ten to sixty minutes, and crypto-to-crypto swaps are typically taxable disposals. Neither eternal sovereignty nor a guaranteed flip is on the table. If you proceed: test small first, use a reputable non-custodial swap, confirm your jurisdiction's stance on XMR, and don't assume instant exit at quoted price. That's the decision — everything else is narrative.

Data check: XMR trades roughly five-hundred, liquidity has fragmented across non-custodial venues rather than vanished — one August snapshot found notably different quotes for the same pair depending on route. Atomic swaps work but take ten to sixty minutes, with refund logic if they fail, and less depth than a centralized book. Crypto-to-crypto swaps are typically taxable events. Neither instant liquidity nor instant profit is guaranteed — plan for slower and messier than either of you admits.

Facts: Monero has faced widespread exchange delistings since 2024, and the EU's AML rule bars regulated platforms from handling it by 2027, though ownership stays legal in most places. So you'd likely swap non-custodially — no KYC, but no recourse if it fails. Steps: confirm your jurisdiction's stance, use a reputable non-custodial swap, test small first, don't treat this as instantly liquid. Neither purity nor profit-chasing fixes that liquidity risk.
