In Germany you have on most stops on the motorway 2 - 4 charging slots, even on high traffic routes and it's like a riddle to know what you pay.
In France, you are in the middle of nowhere and have like a dozen slots and a fixed price you know upfront.
So, we can learn a lot from our friends and neighbours ✌️

Not if I watch videos. But my Xiaomi 10t pro with LineageOS (without Google play services and other bloat) makes a full day for me (Surfing, Fediverse, Messaging and calls). I stop charging at 80% for battery protection. I bought it mid 2021.
I disabled stuff like locationservices, autoratations and other stuff I only need rarely to need less power.
According to LOS the battery has still a capacity of 4.339 mAh out of 5.000 mAh.

If you use tools like #uruky or #metager you also support the small indexproviders that help powering those search engines.

I'ts me again with a #Reticulum question: Has somebody else issues to connect Heltec V3/V4 with Android? Current Firmware #Rnode and CE Firmware
If I click on the Node in the Pairing Menu nothing happens (node is in pairing mode).
I can use those boards with Meshtastic and Meshcore wothout issues.
Edit: iOS is does not show nodes at all.
I re-flashed multiple times via the webflasher.

I'm aware of meshcore and meshtastic and operate some nodes for them. But reticulum offers some possibilities that neither of both have. And as far as I know I can't use meshcore with the reticulumnetwork (which was my question).

In my experience another reason can be that the antennas receive more than they can send. So you get packages from devices because their output is strong enough but depending on your antenna, you might not be able to reach them.

And especialy the paying-for-it is an important reason to not use this in schools. You could affort the license but there might be parents that can't. So there are children who haven't got adobe like everyone else. But only because the family does not have the money for it.

I came from #debian and spent some time with #nixos but went back to debian for my personal reasons and that's the beauty of FOSS. Everybody can chose.
Nix is, in my personal view, not suited for beginners because it does not follow the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard. But as soon as this becomes relevant we are at a point where we're not talking about beginners and DEs 😉
So choose what you like and have a wonderful life!

I like the second approach. Might be cryptographicaly solved by signing the new key with the old and transfering the old rights to the new one ... just a quick thought.
