our Corgi is also gentle with baby bunnies. Sometimes he moves them around and I have to go put them back in the nest. The always grow up just fine though ... unless they try and get into the neighbors yard which often contains a Shiba Inu.

my favorite bit of iOS font behavior is if you have an input with a font of less than 16 pixels, Safari will zoom when the input is focused.

I have my own task system that enqueues tasks into Google Cloud Tasks (and executes them in a webhook-fashion on the web workers). I wonder I could migrate to django-tasks if my task worker is the same process as the web worker?

nah, not worth it. I think the saturated grouphead is neat but there are other ways to get a consistently heated grouphead. They’re not particularly feature-rich either. They sure do look like though!

I recently updated the infotainment firmware in our CX-5 to fix a CarPlay bug and what an experience! It’s also wild to see though interface is just HTML and JavaScript.

this has been a real problem for me. Especially when the link preview bot once sent us 80 requests per second when it got stuck in a loop on our site for reasons I couldn’t possibly imagine. Even more fun is the fact that there is no one to talk to at Meta about this. Even *more* fun than that is if you ban the bot, they can no longer read your ToS, and will deactivate any integrations you have with them.

nice! I think I’m going to swap my J-Max for something more filter-oriented or general-purpose as I have an electric grinder for espresso now. I haven’t done nearly as much testing as you have, but from the little that I have done, I think you would have to spend at least $500 USD on an electric grinder to beat the best hand grinders — which are a fraction of that price!

I’ve spent more time than is reasonable figuring out why my network Time Machine backups were failing. A lot of the time, at least for me, it comes down to multiple mounts of the same drive. I don’t know why macOS does this. I ended up nuking all my Time Machine and NAS credentials and now everything seems okay 🤞
