Die Smartphone-Instanz finde ich eine perspektivische Idee, weil Minderjährige immer irgendwie an eine SIM-Karte kommen.
Ja, klar, vielleicht gibt es auch andere Lösungen – her damit.
Betrachte die idee doch als Beitrag zum Brainstorming.
Jedenfalls wäre es schade, wenn das Fediverse durch Volljährigkeitspflicht ausgebremst und BigTech einmal mehr am längeren Hebel säße.

Ein Smartphone ohne mobiles internet wäre irgendwie sinnlos.
Wenn wir wollen, dass man Mastodon ohne Altersprüfung nutzen kann, fällt mir keine andere Lösung ein, als es selbst zu hosten. Will man mobiles Fediverse, kommt nur das Smartphone in Frage. Denn die meisten wollen sich nicht mit einem eigenen Server beschäftigen.
Es gab mal LAMP für Android; sind inzwischen veraltet.
Eine Alternative wäre eine eigene Instanz im Router; hätte aber auch das CGNAT-Problem.

🦣 Es braucht eine Smartphone-App von Mastodon, die als Instanz fungiert.
Das Problem ist Carrier Gerade NAT.
IPv6-Adressen könnten an SIM-Karten gebunden sein.
