We stand with the family of Brooklyn Rivera in their grief and in their search for justice.
The Miskitu leader and national president of the indigenous political party YATAMA, Brooklyn Rivera Bryan, passed away on May 30, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. at the age of 73, after more than 970 days of illegal imprisonment, according to sources at the Fernando Vélez Paiz Hospital, where he had been hospitalized under the custody of the dictatorship of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo.
The dictatorship concealed the death of the indigenous leader for more than fifteen hours. It was not until midday on May 31, 2026, that the regime acknowledged what had happened, without mentioning that he was a political prisoner and that it had kept him in enforced disappearance for nearly three years.

This month in Washington, DC, in partnership with the National Endowment for Democracy, we launched the two handbooks we co-wrote through the World Liberty Congress Political Prisoners Support Team to strengthen global support for political prisoners and their families.
Through online sessions, guidance, and direct engagement, we work closely with families of political prisoners and former detainees—providing support, connection, and practical tools to navigate repression.
Because no one should face political persecution alone.

“A great wind is blowing, and that gives you either imagination or a headache.” — Catherine the Great
Perhaps this is a fitting definition of what AI represents in our time.
The question is: will it give us imagination — or a headache?

Money is numbers, and numbers never end. If it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end.
What we truly need to find is purpose.

For years, the dictatorship in #Nicaragua has censored, monitored, and isolated us. Today we organize to show that they will never silence us again.
Our mission is to bring Nicaraguan activists to #Nostr to reclaim our digital voice and exercise freedom through decentralization.

Loved this! : The word “Bitcoin” appears twice in Satoshi Nakamoto’s white paper. The word “network”? Twenty-one times. A network isn’t just nodes and transactions - it’s people. With just two individuals, a network begins. With a shared mission, it thrives. ~ Bitcoin Student Network

Have you thought about what it means to live in freedom and democracy?
Take a moment. Reflect.
Now consider this: freedom and democracy are not promised—they’re a responsibility. They must be nurtured, defended, and strengthened every single day. They depend on Collective Action.
Value them. Protect them. Take action.
