I’ve spent months researching dandelions
for a book I’m writing.
When I started, I thought I knew quite a bit,
but there was so much richness yet to learn.
Now, when I see the common yellow flower
in some sidewalk crack,
I feel a profound connection and admiration.
Investing time in learning about nature
is such a pleasant and rewarding way
to season our lives with awe.
