Begrüßenswerte Kritik.
Es würde mich ausgesprochen freuen, wenn sich die @npub1s6p…uzkk und andere auch für andere Institutionen so energisch einsetzten, die ebenfalls unsere Rechtsauffassung vertreten. Und in denen wir als ganzes Land Mitglied sind, zum Beispiel die #VereintenNationen oder den Internationalen Strafgerichtshof #IStGH.
Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten, stehen für internationales Recht und ganz besonders für Menschenrechte ein.

Throughout 2025, I've repeatedly seen SimpleX's founder and director #EvgenyPoberezkin being quoted with some strange statements. This morning, after another such mention, I set aside some time to review his [posting history](https://xcancel.com/epoberezkin ).
I ended up utterly appalled. Not by some lonely, isolated post I happened to stumble upon. Instead, the complete portfolio of extreme-right, "anti-woke", and libertarian BS gets promoted and reposted, continuously:
Xenophobic rants about migrants; attacks against the European Convention on Human Rights (#EHCR); #transmisia; anti- #DEI agitation; support for JD Vance's fantasies about "missing freedom of speech" in Germany; climate change denial; anti-vaxxing crusades ("COVID vaccination was a genocide, on the scale well beyond Nazi war crimes"), and support for RFK Jr's other brain-rotten attacks on science; defamation of the welfare state; celebrating #Trump's "great leadership"; siding with him on declaring antifascists "terrorists"; praising fascist rallies in the UK; the list just goes on and on.

Why is "#AI" being crammed into everything these days?
Most would answer that it's simply about shitty #AIslop generators desperately looking for a valid "use case".
I believe they're not. I'd rather say that AI companies are desperately looking for genuine, human-written, and above all: free text samples for model training.
Like people barely understanding that whatever "free" apps they're downloading to their smartphones are merely vacuuming in their data, in return for peanuts; they don't understand that what they are typing by hand is highly sought after, too.
For a while, "AI" companies could counter #DigitalBSE by obtaining genuinely human training data from "partnerships" with platforms like reddit. But that's a one-shot workaround, with those platforms being flooded with "AI" slop, too.
So companies need an alternative, constant, and free supply of training data that is guaranteed to be of human origin.
This is why you get to "chat" with "AI" for "free", and why terms and conditions make it perfectly clear that all your input will be used for model training.
This is also why "AI" gets crammed into each and every software that is (even remotely) used to maintain any text bites typed by humans. Your issue trackers; your CRM software; just about everything that has text edit fields.
Ironically, people fighting back against "AI" slop are creating corpora of text that "AI" companies can't wait to get their greedy fingers on.
For the time being, anything that runs on a smartphone is considered to be the greatest source, simply because a smartphone has a human owner.
Ironically, adding more and more "AI" "assistants" to phones will poison this well with slop, too. And adding "AI" to other software will, eventually, also poison all alternative wells that AI training wants to drink from.
But none of this matters, or will change anything, as long as you believe you are having genuine "conversations" with a bullshitting text generator.

That is a very good question.
First, it is a short list because not just every account that looks suspicious to me is on it, following some "Sherlock" logic, or assumptions of GenAI usage. I do not publicly discuss my doubts, but I may retract recommendations or boosts, until I have found clarity.
Currently, I'm checking factually incorrect claims, and demonstrable unwillingness to resolve the questions that arise.
Most of the more organized verifying initiatives I have listed in my pinned post are carefully updating their public documentation, for good reasons. Most fundraisers, in turn, are very specific in describing the respective family's situation, and who has verified them, and how.
If somebody claims to have been "verified" by one of the popular initiatives, and looking them up does not produce any evidence, I usually contact the respective account with a polite request to point me to that evidence. Multiple times.
E.g., the legit #GazaVetters are putting much effort maintaining their spreadsheet of fundraisers, and they clearly state on which row they need to do research work, and which of their recommendations they retracted.
#GazaVerified links back to the respective Fediverse profile, so the green check mark is an even faster check; I also contact Aral, from time to time, to ask whether a specific account is pending verification. (Gaza Verified meanwhile has coded a pending status indicator, too, so this is also easier there).
Some scammers, for strange reasons, never reply, never fix their factually broken claims, but keep addressing me under each and every new account they're creating, under their respective "brand".
This is what triggers my research, I'm not actively hunting for scammers. This is also why I only listed two very persistent scammers, and that list won''t become a very long one, as far as I can see, because my time is limited, too.

Ich habe die Petition "Keine Führung eigener Register zur Erfassung von trans* und nichtbinärer Personen" mitgezeichnet.
Es ist wichtig, dass in #Deutschland nie wieder "Vermerke" oder gleich ganze Register von marginalisierten Menschen geführt werden, die bei einem "Regierungswechsel" dann dankend übernommen werden.
Wer heute #Datenbanken zu Menschen anlegt und pflegt, trägt Verantwortung für viele Jahrzehnte – ganz besonders, wenn man das weder sich noch anderen eingestehen will, oder abwiegelt, als wären Drittes Reich und EU-Autokratien nur Fantasy. Vertrauensvorschuss gibt's da keinen.

Meine Verteidigungsbereitschaft zugunsten des #ÖRR ist mittlerweile kaum mehr vorhanden.
Weit rechte und teilweise rechtsextreme "Meinungen" wurden über viele Jahre zuerst hoffähig gemacht und dann normalisiert. Das wird für mich auch durch einige Nischenformate nicht mehr kompensiert, um die es mir dann ehrlich leidtut. Der ÖRR ist seit längerem ein aktiver Mitgestalter eines rechten Deutschlands.
Den Verantwortlichen in den Sendeanstalten muss es aber nicht bange sein, Propagandaorgane sind wichtig. Der Geldhahn wird ihnen ganz sicher nicht zugedreht, sie sind ja bereits auf dem rechten Weg, auf den sie sich selber gemacht haben.

A little suggestion: the website just states "I verify that their accounts are genuine".
Could you make a more specific assertion of what that statement means, to you? At the moment, I could think of all, or some of the following:<li>Verified there is a person that looks like the avatar</li><li>Verified that the person lives in Gaza</li><li>Verified that the persons mentioned in their fundraiser stories exist</li><li>Verified that the facts in the fundraiser stories are correct. (This is just an example. I believe that verification may easily transgress into the territory of humiliation, when taken to far.)</li>

Tomorrow (Sunday August 31st) will see the start of the Global Sumud Flotilla #GSF leaving for #Gaza.
More than 6,000 people from (currently) 44 countries will gather from August to September, and form a large flotilla.
It is a slightly different approach than the one taken by the #FreedomFlotilla, but supported by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and many other organizations.

Each post is tagging two addressees (it tagged me once, too), and prefixing their respective handles with an extra '@'. The second addressee's account handle is always indented with an extra space character. The post content is seemingly AI-generated, to add some variety.
Do not fall for this.

In case you're wondering why #civilians in #Gaza keep asking for donations, and why fundraisers seem to collect "impressive" amounts of money that still don't seem to be enough:
The financial system works by giving #merchants an incredible amount of power and money. A system to which civilians are exposed without defenses, because the existing system of aid distribution was deliberately destroyed, and civil order has broken down.
It works like this:<li>Merchants make an obscene amount of money, which they hold in cash.</li><li>People can't withdraw any donations received using ATMs (I've seen people assuming there were functional ATMs…). They need to have their donations transferred to the accounts of merchants, which will pass on cash in return, subtracting a "fee" of 40% and more of the total amount.</li><li>Merchants are paying "mercenaries" which are collecting food at life-threatening aid distribution sites. Civilians and their families need to risk the life of one of them, whenever they try to obtain something to eat. They're competing with the mercenaries.</li><li>If families don't want to starve, they're forced to buy their food at insane prices from the same merchants that already extorted them with their money withdrawal scheme. Money that goes back to the merchants, fueling the cycle.</li>
This system is enabled by the war, the deliberate engineering of a dysfunctional system of aid distribution by #Israel, and Israel's deputizing and tolerance of criminal gangs.
It is sustained as a "helpful" part of the ongoing forced #displacement and #genocide.
It is accompanied by Israeli PR campaigns delighting in pointing at the "failure" of attempts at re-establishing at least fragments of the former aid distribution system. A "failure" that is carefully engineered and implemented by Israel:

There have been numerous reports about #Gaza-related scams hitting social media. Take them with caution, and seek for evidence. Leaving a scammer account up is as bad as taking a legit account down, by reporting, just because you think it "might be" a scam.
My personal policy on #donations:<li>I do not donate larger amounts to campaigns of individuals. Larger amounts go to long-standing aid organizations with a positive reputation.</li><li>I may be scammed by individual scammers fro smaller amounts, sometimes without even learning about it, afterwards. I'm taking the loss, reporting both the accounts on the respective social media server, and their campaigns on the respective fundraising platforms.</li><li>I'm reminding you of my recommendation, above: Taking offense at somebody merely for asking for donations is not ok. It erodes any form of mutual aid. Looking for verification, and stopping to promote somebody's posts when you see evidence of fraud, is the thing to do.</li>

Or, alternatively, again and again, had to fear for the life of a family member that's away, walking miles and miles to queue up at an "aid distribution" site where soldiers have killed more than a thousand desperate people already, merely for trying to get hold of something to eat.
Yes, there are many fraudulent people trying to exploit your sympathy, on the back of the #Palestinians in Gaza. No, its not impossible to find at least one trustworthy human being in need, and to help them survive.

The collapse of all respect for #HumanRights, #InternationalLaw and the #UN is having consequences.
It's become clear that utter #genocide may be openly announced, planned, and carried out, supported by other nations (like mine) with weapons deliveries, and with "good reasons" why infants and their mothers need to die, and why their blood on our hands should be considered somebody else's fault.
Every scumbag in every rotten government on this planet has realized by now that if others can get away with open genocide, they can get away with any other item on their agendas, as well. The law of the jungle is back.
#Resistance will have to reconsider what being effective means, under such circumstances. Hundreds of thousands on the streets obviously aren't, this should be clear by now.
Do not expose yourself to harm by discussing your conclusions openly.

Der DJV @npub1nn0…8ues sollte einmal erläutern, warum kranke Kinder durch eine Blockade vom Zugang zur dringend benötigten Nahrung abgeschnitten werden dürfen, und man ihr Leid dann nicht fotografieren und an die Öffentlichkeit bringen darf.
Zu Schulzeiten war ich bei Schilderungen unmenschlicher Grausamkeiten gerade gegen kleine und kleinste Kinder im Dritten Reich zutiefst schockiert.
Heute lese ich die Ausreden und Ausflüchte heutiger Deutscher, weshalb man solche Taten selbst begehen oder unterstützen dürfe, Hauptsache, man macht jemand anderes "letztlich" dafür verantwortlich, was die eigenen Hände gerade tun.
Mein fester Eindruck heute ist, dass Deutschland nur für einen kurzen Moment begriffen hatte, was es getan hatte. Heute ist die Mehrheit der Deutschen wieder beim Verdrängen, oder Ausflüchte suchen. Die Würde des Menschen ist nicht mehr Staatsräson.
Man will keine Völkermorde verhindern, es sollen offenkundig nur dieses mal die "Richtigen" umgebracht werden. Entmenschlichung ist deutsche Bürgerpflicht, jedes Widerwort soll erstickt werden, der alte, grenzenlose Vernichtungswille ist wieder offen da.

So sieht das aus, wenn man am Golfplatz beiläufig gef*ckt wird.
