The problem is there is no where to go. None of the countries are any better. The problem with 3rd world countries is the purchasing power of the locals is low and wages are also low.

If I got Bitcoin out of no where I would look at the transaction to see where it came from. If I got another one I would look again.
I wouldn't think of looking for a signed message but if the transaction shows it then I would see it.
I wonder why they didn't make Bitcoin or modify it where you have the option of sending the Bitcoin but you don't release the Bitcoin until the other side accepts the Bitcoin. Once it's accepted you then release the Bitcoin.
That would solve so many problems of sending it to the wrong address.

Normally I look at the price of Bitcoin price in USD.
Sometimes i look at the Bitcoin price in Canadian dollars.
In CAD it makes me think Bitcoin is going up but then i realize Bitcoin is not going up but rather the Canadian dollar is losing value against the USD.

Can some make Nostr relay software/media hosting work and easily installable on Shared Hosting.
Wouldn't that make more sense so users can easily host their own content.
What's the point of running a relay to host other people's content? It's fun at the beginning but as Nostr gets bigger relays will try to charge money and users don't want to pay. You're just betting on making money someday but you need to moderate and people will start censoring.
I already see other relays charging to use their relay.
I want to be in control of my own notes/media.
I already have shared hosting but don't want to buy another vps or dedicated server.

Prestashop, Forums, WordPress are quite easy and the average person can install it. It also works on Shared Hosting. Make BTC Pay Server like that and people will stop using the demo site as production.

This brings up a good point. A lot of the users who comment negative things about Bitcoin probably has 0 Bitcoin and has never used Bitcoin.
Nostr should add an option to add a Bitcoin verified link and badge on our profiles.
How do we become verified? We would have to sign a Bitcoin transaction with a minimum amount of Bitcoin and keep it there. Let's says 100 dolalrs. The transaction would be signed with our Nostr profile public key/username. This would allow us to see if the user at least has some Bitcoin. It would also help with bots and allows us to filter profiles with 0 Bitcoin. Bot farms can't afford 100 dollars a profiles.

There is thousands and thousands of properties available for sale all around Canada and every country which have been for sale for a year or longer.

They have been using our savings in their banks to purchase all homes and re-sell them back to us and charge us interest.
It's a huge ponzi scheme which affects us all weather we are rich or poor.

My issue with X Is that it's a globalist funded propaganda weapon that is used to censor patriots of the world who have been exposing their involvement and compliance in human & child trafficking amoung many other criminal activities.
No one should be giving them 1 cent.
Charging outrageous subscription prices is a easy and legal way to launder money which go towards the human trafficking. Many corporations have been using this tactic.
Corporations have stolen trillions from us and destroyed our local communities and that is one big reason people won't pay for any subscription either because they don't want to support these corrupt corporations or they don't have any money as we are all barely surviving.
Bitcoiners are against paid subscriptions or paying for things probably because we are aware of the trillions stolen from us through the banking system. The good news is Bitcoin will be used to bring down all these systems in place that have robbed us. I don't blame people who don't purchase subscriptions. I will continue to leech off and never twitter a dime or any dime to any corporation.
I'm only there to expose the truth and educate people on the corruption and guide them towards Bitcoin and Nostr.
As for independent developers. I do donate and purchase their products because Bitcoin allows me to pay them directly and even skip the payment processors who are also complict in human trafficking.
I only have disdain for corrupt Corporations and not independent developers or small non-corporation businesses.
Nostr is solving the issue of skipping the middle man and donating directly to the content creator.
I believe in the future Nostr will think of a way that we can also donate to the relays and app clients.
We must continue to expose X any every corporation out there as they are the problem in this world and Bitcoin will expose & bankrupt them all until the we the people take back our power.

I've been using Nostr for 5 months and had no idea you could make money until last week when I received my first "Zaps"
Someone liked one of my post and I received "5 zaps"
Currently at today's rate. 1 zap is worth 0.0032
So i made a total 0.016 cents USD and I only have 5 followers.
The money goes straight into my Bitcoin wallet so I don't need to wait for anyone to approve it or release my money but best of all you don't even need to be approved or get verified to make money. You can start making money right away.
Imagine people who have a lot of followers. I am already seeing users on there with lots of zaps per post.
I suspect most social media companies won't be around in the near future.
Nostr rocks. Getting paid for your posts is awesome.

Didn't last long as i suspected. Gab reverted the "media uploads" for pro members only.
It's because It completely killed groups & many users started leaving and visiting less.
Paying for social media is just not a viable business plan. Majority of people are not interested in paying for a pro subscription.
This will get worse for every social media as now we can make money on Nostr for posting.
On Nostr everything is free with no censorship or administrator. It's up to the user to decide give you money for your posts.
Social media websites will all slowly die out as they won't be able to compete with Nostr.
Nostr is the future.

I want to host my own relay too. Is it hard accomplish? Can it be installed on a server with cpanel?
