I joined the 21 pow club but after a couple weeks I gave up. I didn't see the point of it anymore. It uses up my phone resources. If the clients gave us the option to hide non pow notes then maybe I'd do it.

Amethyst ruined nostr wine's reputation. Its now known as the annoying relay that keeps popping up and even if you block it the popups keeps coming back.
That's why I won't pay for the relay. It has annoyed me many times and if I pay for it there isn't any guarantee the popups will stop.

It's been several weeks since owncast streams started showing up on Amethyst. What I've learned is that owncast is basically full of trash and only about 2 or 3 real streamers. Nostr is beating them we seem to have at least 5 real streamers.

What a night!
I got my 4th Pulser just as I started streaming, and that gave me the courage to keep playing Resident Evil 2, which I find really scary!
Then I almost ran out of stream time, but my new Pulser saved me and started adding more dot to keep my stream going. That was so kind!
I even told my mom that I got a new Pulser, and she was proud of me.

Amethyst on GitHub even warns you that nostr is not private at it. If you're a monero people, you probably shouldn't be using nostr. Reminds me of early Bitcoin when people thought Bitcoin was anonymous and untraceable.

Here's some more information about the LFL Connect system, which is basically a Facebook-style friend request system built for Nostr.
Someone pays a one-time fee of 21 sats to send me a Connect request. The sats go directly to me, and whether I accept or decline, I keep the sats.
But what happens if I accept someone and later they start bullying or annoying me?
Easy. I disconnect them. 😂
If they want to Connect again later, they'll have to wait for the cooldown of around 24 hours and send another request — and pay again! LOL
LFL doesn't have an app yet, but someday it will. Now imagine Amethyst, Primal, Nostrich and other Nostr clients supporting the same Connect system.
Yeah... goodbye spammers and annoying people.
LFL Connect gives the user the power to decide who gets into their social circle.

The LFL Connect system basically solves spam in livestream comments. Listen to this.
On my LFL instance with the connect system enabled, comments won't appear in my live chat or OBS chat widget unless you're Connected with me. It doesn't matter which Nostr client you use to post the comment — if we're not Connected, LFL simply ignores it.
To Connect with me, you send a request and pay a one-time 21-sat fee. I still have to manually accept your request before we're Connected.
Sure, your comment can still exist on Nostr and show up in Amethyst or other clients. That's fine. I use LFL to read my stream comments, and my OBS widget won't display it.
Could a spammer pay 21 sats? Of course. But paying doesn't get them in. I still have to accept them.
Problem solved.
Connect isn't fully implemented across LFL yet, but damn... this is going to be an amazing system.

It's true. Nostrich did come out of nowhere and is completely beating out all the other nostr web clients on record time. They just have made their web client extremely beautiful compared to everyone else, even beating primal who has Venture Capital money.

On LFL the only comments that show up in my chat are comments that are on my approved list in the LFL admin panel. If you aren't on those relays. You won't show up. It's great.

Normally I put my nostr's profile url online from Primal because it's been the best nostr website out there but now that Nostrich has appeared. Its way better than primal and not even less than a month old. It's amazing how quickly Nostrich has gotten compared to primal.

Amethyst should of done what LFL & Nostrich has done. Pull voice rooms from all around nostr instead of pulling only voice rooms from Nostr Nests. Nostr Nests has been broken for many many months which makes me sad because I really liked their site.
It think I should request on GitHub for Amethyst to do the same because maybe they don't know there's other voice room apart from Nostr Nests.
I got tired of waiting for Nostr Nests to fix their site so I requested LFL & Nostrich to add it and they did it very quickly!

wow look at this. The Nostrich web client today added a feature what they call "Spaces"
It's a page where they show all the live streams & live voice chats around nostr.
I saw my voice room from LFL and saw voice rooms from Corny chat. That's the way to do it!
Nostrich gives it's users the ability to start their own voice rooms. I'm going to start my own voice chat from their website and see how it goes. I love voice chats!

Shosho said yesterday that they are implementing zaps. I had no idea they didn't have zapping yet on their site.
You know why I didn't know? because shosho automatically signs you in with a fresh npub so I never bothered to sign in with my own npub. I heard others say that too 😂
I actually like the automatic signing with a fresh npub and not worrying to sign in because I can look around and see if I like the site.
You know what's annoying? When I visit a nostr site and they keep annoying me with the sign in popup because I have an extension.

I dunno who runs Corny Chat but they are advertising their Audio Space groups as Live Streams. Which is annoying because Zap Stream and other Live Stream platforms pulls into into the UI but you can't listen or play them because they aren't live streams.
Please fix!
From what I understand live streams are nip53 Kind-30311.
The correct should be nip53 Kind-10312

I keep seeing Nostrich open up test voice rooms on Amethyst. It means voice rooms are coming on their platform soon.

Nintendo is paying people to say their Ocarina of Time re-make game has amazing graphics. What a joke! They always make cartoony graphics because their hardware can't handle it.
Nintendo is for young kids who don't care much about graphics. It's also overpriced. The Japanese make terrible games too!
