On servers with 64 cores, does it make sense to let a single process use 100% of the 64 cores?
I think not. The OS by default should cap the usage to 63 cores. The last core can then be used to run essential software, like ssh.
The performance reduction is only about 1/64, that is 1.5%. At the same time, you can be sure the system stays stable and reachable via ssh.

Popular music streaming services (Apple Music, Deezer...) claim they have more than 90mln songs available.
Let's say you need to store 180mln songs, doubling Apple Music's library.
Let's say a full song takes 10MB.
10MB * 180M = 1800MMB = 1.8PB ?
If you store them in HDDs of 16TB (Seagate sells them at €200), you need
113 HDDs, so at least €22.600 worth of HDDs.
But you need at least a RAID 1 setup, so 226 HDDs
You can store the entire music library ever produced inside a shed
