It’s because Republican voters don’t see themselves as poor or middle class, rather they see themselves as “temporarily inconvenienced multi-millionaires.”

I had some thoughts about AI and Robots. People think that AI will cause the terminator motives to happen, but I think it’ll be the opposite. AI will be trained to be human, which will lead to people treating AI Robots like humans, which will lead to civil rights for robots, people and robots marrying and raising families together, etc. 100’s of years in the future, people buying AI robots and putting them to work will be looked at with the equivalency of the slave trade.

I must read things differently, because that does not say what Dog’s Breakfast says it does.

100% shitcoin show. Nothing Musk has said about bitcoin leads me to think he gets it.

Idk, I think they could try something like that. With Bitcoin’s increasing value overtime, that would allow the Fed to keep printing. Theoretically they could print the same % that Bitcoin’s value increased to establish a kind of stable dollar value.

Exactly, I feel like we need to be more specific on this.

Putin started this war, he just gave the US the opportunity to destroy the Russian military by backing Ukraine. It’s the same stuff that happened during the Cold War (Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc) except Russia is nowhere near as powerful as the Soviet Union was, so they’re getting rekt.

Al Capone had the same strategy. Didn’t work out too well. He could duck murder charges, but not tax evasion.

Talk about pulling crap duty! Spending everyday in federal prison guarding a convict ex-president.

It makes 100% sense for Russia to do it. 1. Russia is on the defensive preparing for the Ukrainian counterattack with their new Western Weapons, blowing that dam eliminates crossing that river as an attack vector. 2. Now Russia can redeploy forces that were stationed along the river to the Zaporhizia, Donbas, or Savotva areas (which they are currently doing, might I add). 3. It’s a scorched Earth tactic that is devastating for Ukraine. Now Ukraine is busy rescuing civilians and the environmental disaster, rather than focusing on their counter offensive. 4. Russia has done this before, specifically in WW2 when the Nazi’s were approaching Moscow.

And what if Ukraine was planning a counter offensive across that river? Why would the US blow it up?

I liked this one a lot. I’m sticking with Ledger. In fact, if he’s right, Ledger sales could skyrocket.

I’m sticking with Ledger. I think people have lost their collective minds over this.

She’s definitely not a bitcoiner. Why is she speaking at the conference? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Does anyone actually think this guy is a bitcoiner? Also, who the hell is this guy? 🤷‍♂️

2023-05-22 02:37:15 GMT

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but we shouldn’t have fake bitcoiner politicians speaking at #bitcoin conferences.

I’ve been rolling my eyes for years when all the libertarians & conservatives interlace their brand politics with their bitcoin content & commentary.

Well let’s see, I’ve been into bitcoin for about 10 years now, read the Bitcoin Standard, watched countless hours of libertarian/conservative commentary and takes on bitcoin, still as liberal as ever.

What’s the one thing that worries / concerns you about Bitcoin.
I’ll go first: the fact that the source code is maintained by people.

These counties have already lost the battle against the stronger currencies, switching to Bitcoin would give them the upper hand.

2023-03-03 07:00:12 GMT

We should see massive Bitcoin adoption in countries with weak currencies (or none at all) before we start to see it in places like the US or Europe.

First post, let’s see if we can figure this out!
