Mew china junk just came. I must say that as far as 30-ish euro BT/USB/dongle-wireless keyboards go, this motherfucker looks pretty darn good. Scissors-style switches, the chassis actually is machined aluminum as advertised so there's almost no flex there, and it comes with a cable, unlike that EU stuff!

and frankly, if you feel like building yourself a CNC for more than 1000 bucks, just get yourself 4 SBR-style rails with bearings, 3 lead screws with nuts, some stepper motors, bolt it to your workbench and there you have it. This way you can actually machine something and chances are you'll pay even less.

I can find you a 50k house in the shithole of Sicily just like I can find you a 100k house in some semi-deserted town in the American Midwest, you know. Possibly even cheaper.
But if you compare urban areas where there's jobs and shit, it really is roughly 1:2 price ratio. And so are median incomes.
