I found a video of a girl on Instagram asking for donations, saying she wasn't receiving help from organizations, the government, or anywhere else, and that her only recourse was this donation link. I opened the comments and saw that people from the West were sharing her posts and asking for help, while some Arabs were insulting her and accusing her of begging. Others were telling her to die in silence and not bother them, and still others were telling her to liberate her land herself.

Yes, my dear, and the reality is even harder. I'm a mother fighting alone to survive. I have to help them carry water; they're still children, I can't force them. Then I collect nylon and plastic to light a fire for cooking; it can take me hours. Then I fill water containers for washing.
