I don't think people realize just how prevalent Windows XP and Server 2003 still is at the small business and local government level.
At this very moment, there are countless, dust-filled servers in tiny broom closets supporting vital business operations all running an OS that hasn't seen an update in nearly a decade.
It's as impressive as it is terrifying.

I agree if three conditions can be satisfied: Open code, auditable datasets and minimized ecological impact.
As others have said, LLMs aren't inherently bad, it's just the current implementations have been a privacy and ethical trash fire.

I did an upgrade from 23.10. Mine thankfully went through without any issues. The recommendation right now seems to be a clean install until they iron out a couple issues with the upgrade utility.

I absolutely love the customization of Plasma, but sometimes you can get lost in the labyrinth of settings.
We need a Simple and Advanced mode in the Settings Manager.

it's actually just the stock theme. I just set it to the dark variant in appearance and enabled the floating panel setting in the panel settings.
