My point was that my room humidifier (warm mist, not cool mist) was on all night, and it is less than 2 feet from my bed... the humidity level in my room is 73% when I wake up. I STILL have dry nose, throat, eyes, etc.
Humidity does not matter to my body, apparently 🤷‍♀

I'm boring and buy what's on sale and eat the same things all the time by season. That's my advice if you need it. Also, deviled eggs, and things like that are always popular with pot lucks, at least, for me. They go fast and I never have to take any home.

I wonder how this will affect the reddit alternatives such as RedLib and others. I deleted my reddit account this year and started lurking with the full features that I can get with RedLib (e.g. Being able to search subs, sorting and filtering things etc). I'll bet I just won't be able to use reddit publicly that way anymore once they finish this rss thing.

Yesterday's market (our last one for this year) was pretty good, but the weather was absolutely chaotic. Very hot, almost 90, which is record high for even September, much less October in our part of Minnesota, and we endured constant gusts of wind that damaged some things, but no one was hurt. Everyone uses tent weights about 10-15 lbs per pole/stake, and my tent tried to escape! 😂
But we made some money and some new friends, and we'll have the rest of the fall and winter to plan the next year's markets that start in spring.
Pics: Lovely stone jewelry, plants, raw honey, a variety of baked goodies, plus - jerky and soap - as always

Same thing, I could never get my products into the farmers markets here, though. That's because they're all statist and require me to show I've registered with tyrants (USDA, etc.). No thanks. So when I found a community here (back in 2021) in which there were other people who felt like I do, refusing to kowtow to tyrannical government entities, refuse to follow mask mandates, etc., and only support places that were either not enforcing mandates, or were in defiance of them. We also agreed that political solutions do not exist, and we have to work together to build our own. Then my little group and I started outdoor Agora markets every spring through October and aside from selling my jerky online and through nostr marketplaces, I also do it in person at these markets we run. Our last outdoor market for the year is this Saturday. These rare and few events make us and our vendors even more special, though https://tcfreedomcell.com/market

Mmm sauerkraut
I love to make it in Fido jars.
1st pic: sriracha flavored, caraway seed, and regular
2nd pic: This is the type of jar (Bormioli Rocco brand). I put salt and cabbage into a big bowl, mix up with gloved hands, then pound it down into these jars and forget it for 6 weeks minimum, in a cool, dark corner of my place. The rubber gaskets allow air out (so no manual burping needed) but do not let air in.
