I don't go out of my way to see the American side of things, but I see it all the same, and so I see what it does over time. It's not something I have data for, only vibes – but the vibes have it.
I wonder if Ozempic will do to Americanime proportions (allowing for the usual five-year style drift window) what it's expected to do to "body positivity" discourse.

There's many other factors, of course – reactionary attempts to kick back by mixing in "realism" (of which most cannot manage anything but the shallowest pastiche, having never drilled as their predecessors did), Diversity Style, outright resentment of beauty, social factors selecting for those who pick up the stylus in the first place... but I've deliberately put all those aside and considered the artists who seem to be enjoying themselves.
It's in honest expression – both of creation and of consumption – that a people express themselves and push styles accordingly, and where American artists on average go with the style they're adopting is FAT and WIDE.

American how-to-draw-anime style suffers runaway inflation:
- American artists surrounded by obesity and soaked in nigger-worshiping Jew media draw what they imagine as "normal" or "fit", produce exaggerated "thicc" (fat!) girls.
- American artists realize they're drawing fat chicks, replace fat with exaggerated, poorly-rendered muscle but don't change the proportions.
- Repeat.
It's cruel, really - one day these poor parodies of anime girls will rupture like soaked grapes, gory rivers of anime lard and twitching meat splashing through social media.
