is there any chance that when the AI bubble bursts there'll be data centres worth of hardware being sold cheap by liquidators? Doesn't help now but I heard someone say a good business plan for 2027 was "find a use for loads of cheap GPU servers"

Here's a question I'd love an answer to. How does everyone else cope with the rage? The rage with how shitty life is under neoliberalism, how much friction there is to trying to live a good life without destroying the environment or helping sustain the billionaires who are screwing everything. How do you cope? I'm not coping, I'm just almost perpetually angry, which doesn't feel like a healthy way to life.

Hopefully people realise that the Countryside Alliance is nothing to do with 99% of the rural population, its just a toff-centric pressure group which no one (especially government) should listen to. I say that as someone who grew up in a small village in East Anglia and now lives in a small village in East Anglia. Riding and fox or trail hunting are explicitly elite hobbies (I won't call hunting a sport), don't pretend they're some sort of vital part of rural culture or economies.

Eventually I found out what these values are. They are: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Not sure how arresting me if I have "I support Palestine Action. I oppose genocide" on a piece of cardboard lives up to the values of individual liberty or respecting those with different beliefs, but maybe I've misunderstood.

I keep hearing a lot about 'British Values', and as someone born and educated in Britain I'm not entirely sure what those values are, or who gets to decide what they are. I went to our governments website to find out, and it appears British Values are comma separated. Glad I cleared that up. #british #culture

I've been searching for a Firefox replacement now they've compromised their core appeal as a privacy focused browser. So far CalyxOS Chromium (Cromite with pieces of Brave) is the next best on Android, having tried Vivaldi and Brave, gutted neither of the popular Firefox soft forks (Librewolf and Zen) were available on Android. I'm thinking I'll have to use Chromium for Android and something else for Windows & Linux which is annoying so I'm also now looking at a browser synchroniser. If you find anything which is privacy focused, blocks ads and works across Android and Linux let me know!
