i have diagnosed adhd, and adderall turned me into a complacent cog in the wheel of capitalism. switched to vyvanse, and the effects arent as noticeable, it’s still effective, and i dont feel like a zombie when i dont take it during the weekend or light-work days.

taking an educated guess here and saying it is stored locally. i dont see any special tags or anything in the json to distinguish it as a bookmark, nor do i see any special nostr event on nostr.info
would that mean if i sign out and delete the app and later sign back in, those bookmarks wpuld disappear? not that it affects me, just curious

i agree, and i hope you’re right about the masses realizing the value of distributed networks vs centralized servers.
to play a little bit of devil’s advocate, i dont think most people care about owning their own data. theyve been indoctrined to trust azure/aws/gc to store their data. they know their data is collected and shared, and they’re apathetic towards that fact. what an average user will value with nostr over other platforms will be customizability (client selection), censorship-resistance, and service reliability

yes, its important that companies working on ai are using unbiased data sets. i assume alot of data labelling is done manually by humans on what is an ‘appropriate’ response and even the humans doing this can be biased. i agree with you 100% on that point.
but if an AI has enough data and enough nodes/parameters, it will be able to output correct results- everytime. thats why i say it’s only going to get better the more training a model receives. the more eyes developing AI, the less biased it will be. ive already noticed chatgpt is a quite liberal, and i *do* have a problem with that. ai shouldnt be biased in either way. if we achieve general ai or the singularity - we bulld an ai that accurately reflects all of human knowledge, it wouldnt be catastrophic, i dont think. it could revolutionize and optimize learning, get rid a lot of boring jobs (ubi is inevitable), and provide helpful advice to people that need it. it can be your therapist as well as your teacher. i think *thats* where we’re headed, and im not really opposed to it. the good heavily outweighs the bad imo

i disagree on your guys’ points.
ai will only get better and expand with more varied use cases
most people that use tech dont know how it works behind the scenes- it doesnt mean that piece of software is evil.. some people are scared of bitcoin because they don’t truly understand it and what it hopes to accomplish.
imo treating ai the same way people treat bitcoin hinders progress
or maybe im just young and already too far gone 😅

from what you’re saying in regards to filtering spam on global, it seems my paid relays might also be getting a few bots in. maybe paid relay + nip05 verification might help fix some of this? i realize paid relays are probably better suited for filtering spam, just a thought

sure i’ll give you an opinion..
global filtering is a little strict. im seeing a lot of the same people. not sure how ’trust’ is being mapped behind the scenes.
i dont like the ui. this is just an opinion idk maybe you like it.
notifications should be streamlined. dont need 20 notifs for the same note
content filtering isnt reliable - still seing bots and porn especially when you switch to video or media filters.
missing a lot of dms. dont think its a relay issue since i see it in snort and damus. could be wrong idk.
the reason for my original post was that i’d like an instagram-like client. i dont want to see text posts. i think from a user experience it’s important for clients to be dedicated- you give users too many options and they get overwhelmed. it should be easy to set up and pre-configured for its intended use

4. ML-assisted data labelling for tags (ik ik ‘censorship’ but spam is too much, or at least filtering by language?)
