Gold became a store of value through cultural consensus and physical properties over thousands of years. Bitcoin is becoming one through code, math, and network effects in real time.
Where gold won by endurance and inertia, Bitcoin is winning by engineering and exponential adoption.

Here is to learning from the mistakes of the past. Just because we have a new tool doesn't mean it won't be used incorrectly.
Thanks for writing, @nprofile…k0y0 ! I feel a little smarter today 😄

I am proud of myself today. I wrote my Colorado Senator urging them to spend 10 hours studying Bitcoin. I included a few resources to get started. I don't expect immediate results, but I took my first step pushing for change I believe in.

I saw this on X and had to repost here to tag @npub1k7v…c04l . Too funny lol. I’m just glad I am doing the same thing for my own portfolio.

What a morning! It’s amazing what a 4 and 6 year old can do. 5.5 mile hike and they crushed it!

This is my first bitcoin cycle. I hope the next one is easier on me.
I believe in my research but at the same to worry about becoming one of the examples you hear about. The Dad that put his family's future in an asset that never panned out.
Hoping to be proven right in the next few months.

I am only 1/3 through The Hidden Cost of Money by @npub1tm2…lpna. It is not what I expected when I initially picked it up and in a very good way.
So far, one of my favorite pieces is the relationship between money and parenting. Having 2 young kids this really hit home. I did not expect there to be so much good parenting advice in the book.
