It is quite an “avant-garde bass”, but made by an excellent luthier. Its simplicity is charming, one pickup, one potentiometer, excellent wood. It sounds very spot-on, even perfect for punk or heavier sounds, with plenty of drive, becouse of mid range punch.
Maybe one day Marlin Manson will call for me, I'll take it on stage! 😉

If you like the sound of precision bass check yourself the album of the band #mtvoid, the first album especially. This is the project of @nprofile…ajyp and Justin Chancellor from Tool. There Justin uses a Fender Precision and the sound is quite clean, Im guessin a clear DI with compression etc.
He uses a 1963 Precision.
