At least we now also have a medical savings account, which is doing a lot of heavy lifting on our medical bills. But we only have the insurance and savings because of my job. If that goes (unlikely, but things have a way of happening when you least expect them), we are in trouble. And I don't want anyone else to have to deal with those troubles, either.

I'd forgotten how the SNW crew geeked out about Archer and his crew on the NX-01. This adds another layer to the celebratory crossoverness. I also love how Jack Quaid and Tawny Newsome embody their characters in live-action so well. And Ransom's cameo at the end? Chef's kiss!

At least in hockey, if it's tied at the end of regulation time, both teams get points in the standings. Overtime or the shootout just determines which team gets two points and which team gets one. (But yeah, I'm fine with ties in the regular season.)

Fellow #WizardOfOz fans, SPREAD THE WORD! Nominations are open for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame at MoPop in Seattle, and neither L. Frank Baum nor "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" are in it! You can nominate one creator and one creation, so I put "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900 novel)" in the latter so it doesn't go to The Movie (which should also go in, but that may be for another day). The deadline is June 19. You can find the nomination form at https://www.mopop.org/exhibitions/science-fiction-and-fantasy-hall-of-fame
