None of the above articles are saying that sailfish is shit, just that Russia sees it as a credible alternative. So what ? If Russia chose it, it's bad ? That's no proof of anything, just ideology. That's being despising, racist and arrogant, once again. An old occidental tradition...
Ask yourself why the russians, who are not stupid, are choosing Sailfish instead of AOSP (if you can, of course).

once again : A gsm phone doesn't transfer datas because it has almost none to transfer ! No apps, GPS, wifi or BT, just phone and sms (which I dont trust anyway but at least there's nothing else here). Stop saying shit.

All you do is spitting on all other solutions. According to you , everything is shit except Graphene, AOSP and Mac. You even deny that AOSP depends on google (lol). When you're asked to give sources, you don't. Linux should be banned, you say : and replaced by what ? Android or apple ? How ironical, once again.
Promoting Graphene this way is not really smart : you dont get bigger by diminushing the others.

Read again, I didnt promote any products except low tech GSM.
I said that Graphene, like the others, is based on AOSP and depends on Google.
And if you don't see the irony in buying a Google device to get rid of Google, well I do 🙂
That said, I agree with you on one thing : Graphene seems to be the best AOSP-based OS, according to all websecurity experts.
But my GSM holds one week without recharging 🙂

From what I know, the only project that replaces completely AOSP and Android is PostmarketOS. But it's experimental and not usable for everyone today.

I dont use lineage, graphene, iode or else. I dont use smartphone AT ALL. Because I think that a smartphone, today, is not yours but theirs.
You didn't get my point : AOSP is depending on google, and now google aims to shorten the leash, right ?
If Google decides that AOSP is over, then all those solutions are over too,, because they stand on the android system. It doesn't replace it, it's just a layer on top...

Je ne dis pas le contraire. De même que Lineage, Iode, /eos. Mais toutes ces solutions dépendent du bon vouloir de Gogol. Le seul OS qui remplace totalement la couche android c'est PostMarketOS, hélas c'est pas mature pour du grand public.

J'en suis arrivé à la même conclusion : c'est jamais ton téléphone, c'est le leur.
Donc LA solution c'est : pas de data. Du tout.
Un bon vieux GSM et c'est joué (ou un dumbphone, mais ils se touchent sur les prix, un GSM c'est 30 balles et la charge tient une semaine).

Toute cette histoire est un scandale financé avec de l'argent public. Au lieu de proposer aux enfants qui en avaient besoin un matos décent, ils ont filé de la merde inutilisable à tout le monde... Aucun des amis de mon fils n'a pu s'en servir, ça prend la poussière sur une étagère avant d'aller à la benne. Ça passe mal quand tu empêches les pauvres de rentrer à Paris sous prétexte de transition écologique...
