And how do you figure that?
Have there not been successful revolutions in the past?
Right now, I can think of:
Russia
China
Vietnam
Korea (technically North, but would have been the whole thing if the US didn't get involved)
South Africa (+/-)
Venezuela
Cuba
Haiti
Iran
You know, most countries the US is beefing with because they dare actually to not bend the knee to corporate interests.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@benroyce/117040275439060545
This neoliberal talking point has to stop.
Y'all need to stop blaming the voters for your candidates' shit policies.
Candidates are supposed to earn the vote of the voter, not the other way around.
The voters owe the candidates nothing.
It's 2026! Get over the Dems losing because of their shitty as platform and actually start advocated for something better.
If anything, progressives will just hold the line as moderates (conservatives) and conservatives (MAGA) keep trying to push us right.

If you are seeing anything about protests on corporate controlled media, know that those are carefully crafted events that the Empire knows they can control and can get you to consent to anything the empire does.
I mean, the media barely covered Palestinian protests in your own country, but they'll give airtime to all the Iranian protests?

The system wants you to focus all your attention on one man (or a group of individuals) instead of the system itself.
For as long as you attack and tear down those individual people, the system will have enough time to rebuild itself.
If you attack the system, all those who participated and benefitted from said system will fall, too.
Having typed that, I see why so many people are interested in fighting and destroying the system.

It still doesn't change the fact that the material conditions for millions of people within the US have been living under incredible hardships.
Just because “collectively" it may not look bad, especially when talking heads say it, the story isn't the same where it really counts, in the pockets of hard working people who don't have enough to live on.
And this is from someone who just got a job a month ago.

Yes, because this man in particular has enabled policies that have killed thousands upon thousands of people who also had families.

So, just like monarchs, we will continue to celebrate the removal of people who have done irreparable harm to society.
