Made a firepit from an old oildrum for an autumn barbeque party. I drilled a lot of holes in the drum to feed the fire with fresh oxygen, and reduce smoke. Worked quite well. Temperature at the bottom of the barrel was around 630°C and made the metal turn orange.

Impressive, but why not feed power from a hole in the back? That would solve a lot of cable-mess issues.

Any Bitcoin, Lightning, Nostr enthousiasts out there that are thinking of visiting WHY2025? The hackercamp has themed villages. We could apply for a village and demonstrate what's going on in Bitcoin, Lightning and Nostr.

NFC payments for the bliksembier beertap firmware work quite good. What you see is an ESP32 with a PN532 NFC reader. The card is a boltcard (NTAG424). Bitcoin, Lightning, LNbits rock! https://nostr.build/av/e5314939b6d9840715ea09aee8b502c24b47c23c958e763f72bb3774ba2a1c9b.mov
