@nprofile…4tpe Agreed. But also a good reminder that la be crazy. I spent the last two hours debugging why it won’t start - my fancy tool installed 11ty@v2 instead of 3. So nothing was formatted correctly. I didn’t think to look there.

Feeling a bit conflicted. On one hand, I’m not particularly convinced “vibe coding” is a good thing. On the other hand I feel the need to understand the tools in my career. And at least I’m using it for good and migrating my website to #11ty (from Astro. Which was Hugo before). Perhaps if I had met @nprofile…4tpe a few weeks sooner I wouldn’t have already done the Astro migration.

@nprofile…4tpe I like this term. I’m wondering if I start using it in conversation whether people will get the snark, or think I’m clueless.

@nprofile…4tpe You are certainly kinder to future-you, when you realize you’ll have to maintain the code you add today.

@nprofile…4tpe @nprofile…uzec Need to pay per line of diff. Then you can get paid for removing code, too.

@nprofile…4tpe @nprofile…3xna It’s pretty magical right? And there is just so much good will out there in the 3D printing community, from my experience. People helping to get gear working properly. People sharing the designs - so many free models. So much opportunity to pay it forward.

@nprofile…4tpe if I get over my fear of stickering my laptop, would you mail me an 11ty sticker?

So close to migrating an aged Wordpress site to #11ty. If I can get it to a useable state in 2 weeks, I can cancel my “getting expensive” shared hosting. Count down is on!

@nprofile…4tpe I feel like hitting a four-hundo lighthouse result on one of my projects may stem from your encouragement somewhere. Thank you.

@nprofile…ceap I get it. So far, I’ve held off pretty easily - Apple / Samsung and such don’t offer anything of interest to me. I’m intrigued by the re-release of the #pebble smart watch - purporting a 30 day battery, with open source software, I think I may actually benefit from not having phone in pocket so much around house. Of course, probably better off not having phone in pocket _and_ not having a smart watch.

Anyone have an #11ty example of syntax highlighting code saved in a file? I wanted to output the content of my eleventy config file and package.json in itself. (I’m making a presentation, in 11ty, on how minimal 11ty can be to use)

@nprofile…4tpe @nprofile…dr30 It was! Hopefully you’ll consider coming back to #webunleashed this year!

@nprofile…dr30 I also have a love for #11ty - I just need to get my act together and migrate my last Astro project over. But I just moved there before learning of 11ty, from @nprofile…4tpe at a conference.

@nprofile…4tpe Barbie-scale furniture, DnD-scale gaming terrain and miniatures, cable organization, brio-compatible tracks - my most frequent types of prints. https://www.dmsguild.com/m/product/295239 shipworks is a cool project for the ttrpg realm. I have lofty visions of Halloween costume bits one year.
