Akiiwan by Little Buffalo Studios surprised me. It’s cozy, calm, and way deeper than it looks. If you need a game that won’t drain your brain, this one’s worth a look. Find out more about my thoughts from #PAXEast this weekend, and if you're at the Con, maybe give it a look! https://shadomain.com/akiiwan/

Me to the guy at the hotel desk: I locked myself out of my room, could I get an extra key?
Guy: Can I see your ID?
Me:... It's locked in my room.
Guy: Oh, that's a problem.
We got it fixed but like... Dude.

I primarily game on PC, but use Steam Deck/Xbox too. I sit at a computer all day for work, the last thing I wanted to do was game on my computer all night. So I disconnected it, & have been using my Steam Deck.
Until I realized I'm an idiot & can connect my PC to the TV & game from the couch.

People to raise kids successfully to adulthood should also get a birthday party when the kid becomes a legal adult. That shit was hard and parents/caregivers deserve a little celebration for making it through all of that.

I'm also a DEI accomplice and would love to help in that space as well.
If you know of an evening or weekend role, or even a short-term project, that could use someone who’s organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented, I’d love to connect.

I'm gonna just throw this out there: I'm looking for some part time remote work that I can do outside of regular business hours.
My background is social work, training & development, and I currently am in Patient Family Relations for a large hospital system, and working on an MS in Management with a Healthcare concentration. I have a lot of experience with community management in Discord, and in the TTRPG space, though I've been kind of out of the space for a while.

Just watched the season 2 finale of Shrinking. For a show I wasn't sure if I liked when I started it, the end of Season 2 had me in tears. So good.

I just opened a package of Gushers fruit snacks, and every one in the package was the same color.
What does it mean???

Just venting, not looking for advice.
I am frustrated with people. A group of my social circle are friends with each other because they met through me. They're happy to come over, or tell me "you should do this more often" when I host.
But I never get asked when they do it.
They have game nights almost weekly, & not once do I get invited. I might not always go because I'm introverted & need my down time after work, but not even ever getting an invite really feels bad.

@nprofile…w7um I was picking up a prescription at the CVS inside and decided to grab a few things while I was there. I have been trying to not shop there when possible, so I'm sure that could be part of it.

Bought a bag of fun size Almond Joy (don't judge, they're one of my favorite) at Target today. Ate one tonight and thought it tasted weird. Checked the package. They expired in April, 2025. *Sigh*
