Could GrapheneOS hash the security preview releases and share those hashes? Then in the future when it's okay to openly share the code of the release, those hashes could prove authenticity.

Might be because even if only a cent or two, exchanges may currently still need to report on US customers 1099-DAs. De minimus on stables would likely make that complexity unnecessary.

A dying fork can have all the nodes it wants. If mining power has no incentive to support it, it will quickly become irrelevant. An adequate number of nodes is important for censorship resistance, but beyond that, economically incentivised mining power is the boss. I wish people would realize that node count is nearly irrelevant. Non economic nodes are in reality only valuable for the node runner's privacy and personal coin verification.

I've been enjoying using the Misty apk with its simple and straightforward interface for lightning. Thank you! I did however have an issue with receiving from main chain. Developers/support provided refund, again thank you. But afraid to use for main chain lightning swap until apk upgraded from pre-release status where it's been since August. Any love in store for the Misty apk?

But what if we think of it in terms of a bitcoin hard money fixed supply world that we hope for. Someone pays 100 sats, and next day only worth 10 sats. But the bitcoin/capital hasn't been destroyed, it just changed hands.

I appreciate your insights, thank you. Where did that capital go? May have changed hands, but it didn't just disappear. Pump and dump on bitcoin treasury company stock, but where is the capital sitting now? If bitcoin sentiment turns positive, couldn't the capital roll into bitcoin?

Regardless of what you may want, you're primary use case is to run a bitcoin node. So users running your software for this use case that are running bitcoin core will not know that they are not running the latest version. Do you have any plan to remedy this situation? I hope it's not to have us just continue waiting for 0.4.0 since we've already been waiting two years since the last update. @nprofile…uf96

I am a big liquid fan for multiple reasons. That said, liquid bitcoin is held in custody by the liquid federation, and permission from a federation member is necessary to "peg out" back to main chain bitcoin. This is seamlessly handled by the wallet software. Fees a little high for small amounts, but increasingly minimal as amounts diminish significance of base fee. I am a current user of Misty Breez.

So, one's data is protected by encryption. Might it be possible for that encryption to be broken in the future? If so, if one wants to protect against that possibility, is it possible for one to request deletion of one's data? I understand there would be trust involved that that data is fully deleted, but I would still prefer the option to request deletion 🙏

I apologize. I did as you said and checked again. This time I had success! I think maybe I'd had one too many beers at the meetup when I last tried 😏 Also I was going to request the ability to transact directly with other liquid wallets like Aqua and Blockstream Green, but I noticed that through some magic I don't understand it was recognizing that when interacting with Aqua, very cool! Again, sorry for my mistaken criticism, but glad I learned it was indeed functional without Google services on my GrapheneOS pixel. I am happy now to have it there along with Aqua and Blockstream Green. Thank you very much for the wallet and all you do at Breeze 🙏
