I’ve begun my chicken and compost journey at the same time. Eggs and then being able to return that back with other food/yard waste to then get more eggs. Gotta love a mostly closed system that generates real food and soil. Listened to @npub1s5y…6q7z talk to writer of Fiat Food today, and couldn’t help think about how excited I am to eat even more eggs. It’s nice to refresh and read a bit about MLK today. One thing that they really don’t teach in school is his focus economic equality regardless of race. Bitcoin has the potential to bring more balance and equality to our broken financial system. I really don’t think it’s a stretch to think that he would have been a #bitcoiner in today’s world.

Charlie Munger continues to detach further and further from reality. Downplaying the importance of AI is the next thing on his list of things that makes it clear to me that he has lost “it”. Warren and Charlie were pioneers in value investing, and I have learned a lot from them, but it’s clear to me that they are very wrong about where we are heading. Fortunately for them, they don’t have to be right at 90+ years old.
Can’t wait to hear #[0] take on what comes out of that world. Having lived so deeply in both worlds of traditional value investing and now Bitcoin, his insights are usually spot on.

#[0] is fighting the good fight over on BS today. Not going to lie it is hard to watch, the amount of ignorance and hate really about nothing that should be controversial. It’s funny the difference between nostr and BS. He is getting attacked for spreading hate on an “app” he owns 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Clearly most people over there don’t understand what a protocol is. Also the ignorance around Bitcoin reminds me where most of the world still stands on the subject: misinformed and lied to.
But through all that, it almost makes me think there is an opportunity on BS that nostr doesn’t have. The AT protocol can be a Trojan horse for decentralization, and expose people to the value of an open protocol and hopefully Bitcoin (pray for zaps). I think nostr is about a year ahead, if not more, but at least it’s something to get more people out of the walled gardens that are Twitter and instagram. Nostr is relaxing, BS is not, but I feel a responsibility to try to be on both. And it seems like #[1] might be doing the same…at least today he is haha

This feels a bit like gmail undo, and I never have used it. I could see it being useful for some, but like some said at #nostrica, there is beauty in the mistakes.
I do think there is some value in ephemeral notes. Unlike conversation, notes can live forever. Even today we see that be used against people who may learn, change opinion, and grow as people. I would love to find a way to promote that type of growth on nostr instead of continue the trend of canceling people for what they may have posted about a decade ago. Maybe they needed to learn, grow, or found themselves in a bad place at the time. Social media today promotes judgement, would love to see nostr promote understanding.

On Damus, it feels like profile images and usernames go away each day, or after a certain amount of time. Is this expected behavior with regards to caching? Even saying it is “low confidence” is a political move. Sam Harris had Matt Ridley and Alina Chan on his podcast this past week and it is pretty clear that this occurred because of poor safety practices and in general sketchy gain of functional SARS virus research in Wuhan. Apparently they outline it in their book “Viral”. News sources continue to be scared to give them/this book any media attention. Not surprising that the media/government is scared to speak the truth which we all deserve.
