I'm quite concerned about the news that Spain has introduced a new regulation on December 2nd, which obliges hotels to collect over 40 sensitive data points from travelers: passport, email, address, relationship of your companion, phone number, nationality, date of birth, credit card details, including expiration date, and all the basic information that was already being requested... And we have to swallow all this without complaining because it's for our own good, as if all hotels had an IT department, we all know that in IT, talent shines by its absence, the geniuses leave and the companies have to acceppt the lack of talent. What kind of incompetence is there in the Ministry of the Interior or the INCIBE that no one thought that during the 3 years that those data must be stored by law in possibly unlicensed equipment or old ones with outdated software, no one would hack or auto-sabotage from within? Who would guarantee that an hotel mantainer or Airbnb owner who installs hidden cameras would take care of the data and not misuse the data or even stalk anybody among many other possible risks.

The idea looks very attractive , I LOVE IT, however.... it turns out that I am curious enough to have invested many hours, days and months just to understand something as simple as what the heck is github? but that is the easy part, suddenly you find yourself fixing your Environment variables because you have followed a blind process with zero IT knowledge, then you learn there is a kind of thing called libraries that you should be carrefull with and wich happen to be outdated xD, you end up with a full and slow hard drive, you are not even clear what you have installed at this point or remember the commands you launched, and all this while you are also producing yout own music which is already as complicated as programming. im not exagerating, the level of details that you have to pay attention when you produce is very high if your goal is to sound good. So I cant imagine this becoming the first option of most musicians in the world, its sad, but thanks for sharing, Hopefully I find some time free one of this days and try to implement this in my own website, at least I will give it a try.

strong point, however the fact that I have to pay to distrokid or any other distributor around 40$ per year for ever to hold my music and in wavlake not, makes it the best option available for whoever wants to jump out of spotify dictatorship.
I guess they know this and thats the deal.
And wich other alternatives are you talking about? Maybe you could share some info.

I agree with both points, I would even say that the criticism is respectable and I hope the Wavlake team receives it positively, since I doubt that they can guess all the possible concerns and ideas of improvement that will appear and hopefully can be implemented in a near future, in fact, the music of Wavlake is accessible via Fountain wich is a plus and I hope they always keep it, I am using wavlake pilot application and looks great, there is a good team behind it investing some time and effort.
And just in case, cuz im very new here and im still catching up and learning, apart from #wavlake what other nostr compatible option do we have? As far as i could find the next best option is Tidal? Not decentralized at all.
I wont be surprised that eventually as soon as spotify starts to consider Nostr a serious competitor they may implement the protocol in their services and if happens that by the time wavlake or any other option is not good enough to compite artists may jump back.
I mean the whole effort to convice people to stop using spotify after a decade is a big challenge.

#Hola yo era un #artista en deterioro que con cada obra que compartía en las plataformas convencionales me iba apagando poquito a poco, no se si a alguno de los que estais leyendo le ha pasado que se ha dejado la piel durante la produccion de un nuevo proyecto para terminar publicando la cancion sin ningun tipo de estrategia de marketing.
Siempre he sido un rebelde pero han habido momentos en los que pense por un instante en convertirme en un robot, aplicar y adaptar los metodos en mi arte para robarle un ridiculo minuto de gloria al algoritmo.
Asi fue como saque la cancion que he adjuntado al final del texto.
Fue la primera vez que uno de mis trabajos logro pasar de las 10 autovisitas, tenia todo lo que algoritmo me pedia pero sin perder mi esencia.
El algoritmo me pedia controversia, politica, sangre, odio... yo se lo di todo, hasta llegue a darle mi direccion de hogar, porque google en esas fechas aun tenia total custodia sobre mi registro virtual en esas fechas.

Menos mal que abri los ojos y llevo 6 años limpiandome de todas estas dependencias centralizadas. que continuamente nos empujan a aplicar la ley del minimo esfuerzo.

Un projecto Increible!!! Ayer me parti la cabeza durante horas intentando instalar el proyecto directamente desde github a traves de android studio y despues de actualizar 400 librerias no logre ejecutarlo, tampoco desde en el navegador por un problema de incompatibilidad con SQlite 😟
Al final no tuve mas remedio que bajarme un emulador de android desde donde si pude ejecutar el APK, no obstante bluestack a parte de ser inestable y crashear es puro spyware, miren:

Hola a todos, que tal estais, estoy muy contento de presentarme como nuevo desertor y daros la bienvenida a todos los curiosos que me leais desde el futuro. Me llamo Buluc y llevo toda la vida haciendo musica, en su dia me parecio lo mas revolucionario que podia hacer.

Ahora mismo me hayo trabajando en mi primer Album producido 100% por mi y que comence a desarollar durante la pandemia. Aun no he terminado, hablamos de unas 24 nuevas canciones ineditas que requieren un largo proceso de arreglos y masterizacion.
Nunca he dejado de hacer musica, lo que si que deje de hacer es compartir y subir mi energia online, no obstante hace 1 semana descubri via github el protocolo Nostr. Todavia estoy digiriendo la felicidad que me da tener la oportunidad de aportar mi granito de energia y contribuir con mi creatividad en el crecimiento de una red de estas dimensiones.
Espero poder servir como una aportacion exclusiva en NOSTR en algun punto y a medida que vayan saliendo las alternativas Nostrs de cada una de las plataformas del diablo, ojala salga pronto una alternativa para youtube, spotify y demas. (O quien sabe, quizas estas empresas decidan tomar la misma direccion que Tidal e integren el protocolo en sus servicios.)
