Its Christmas eve and my son just broke his leg. We had planned to and saved up for a xmas vacation to Disneyland but were not ready to face a serious injury.. especially since I have a new job and have a temporary lapse in insurance, I had to pay for his appointments with our vacation savings. If you have the heart to donate, please help me keep my promise to the boy. He broke his leg playing backyard football with the family, all trying to help keep him practiced for school football. So.. we have this tradition of wrapping our tree with a skirt to keep needles at bay. Plus it looks great to put presents on, right? Well I saved a cat this year and it's crazy. It's the first xmas it has ever seen and it is obsessed with this skirt on the tree. At first he only got under it and attacked people putting presents down. Then we wake up to the silly guy having pulled the skirt up the tree, making a nest and perched with a single ribbon bow with him, waiting for anyone to come to close to these boxes and tree.
