They are going to tax other stores to make government supermarkets. These idiots don't understand that the majority of money spent at a supermarket goes to truck fuel not even the farmers. They need to cut gas prices to lower store prices

Yes following journalism ethics and requiring a counter point on the record source is politics but good journalism.

"ghost" guns have been a part of American life since before the founding. They are just a reactionary term for self manufactured guns. Americans have been making guns at home as long as we have been here. Sometimes it's conflated with undetectable guns eg ones that do not set off magnetometers. But for the most part those don't exist and the few that do are destroyed on use. Making them more akin to a bomb with a directed blast.

So the Trump administration had to go to court to get any snap benefits to families.

But when they try to stay within the narrow legal victory it's framed as if they are the ones withholding assistance. This level of intellectual dishonesty is truly breathtaking. The left can't even publicly state their position.

Here you go John's wealth tax. What billionaires would stay in a state with such a tax? Then after they chased out the billionaires and we lost all their taxes what is the plan? More taxes on everyone else?

There is an easy way to avoid the mistakes of California. Stop trying to build trains. They will never make their money back and are at best a vanity project and at worse a destroyer of budgets..

Delaware has basically killed the golden goose because one activist judge went after Elon. Instead of appealing Elon just said right we are out. And are moving the company. Now other companies are facing shareholder lawsuits as Delaware has shown they are ignoring shareholder elections. This now they have killed the single largest business in their state. This is amazing.

why still there how many families more could be saved arlt $1m or $250k.
The real fix here is private insurance. That wasn't possible because the state made private insurance illegal as none could insure him based on the regulations they put on the insurance market. If the government is going to make insurance for the full value illegal the ethical thing to do is either insure it for the full amount or admit they can't and limit the tax revenue they can get from it.

If the California State insurance will only cover 3 million in value. Then it should only be able to tax you on that 3 million value.

Changing the policy of the Justice department to not use civil asset forfeiture without a conviction. Also not to assist state agencies in the same as the feds often are used to get around local laws prohibiting it.

Why do people keep saying the DOGE and the president can't cut the budget. This makes no sense. Congress appropriates the money for the budget but where is it stated the President must use all the funds appropriated? For example Congress can decide to appropriate funds to hire more IRS agents. But the IRS reports to the executive, the treasury secretary can just decide not to open those positions and the money will go unspent.

What exactly would this achieve other than making a mess.
Chrome exists because Google wanted browsers to conform to standards better. Had the independent companies built better browsers it wouldn't exist.
