does anybody have a copy of Beilinson's "Notes on absolute Hodge cohomology"? I'm really struggling to find one in any of the usual places...
Beilinson, A. A. (1986). "Notes on absolute Hodge cohomology". Applications of algebraic K-theory to algebraic geometry and number theory, Part I, II (Boulder, Colo., 1983), Contemporary Mathematics 55. American Mathematical Society. pp. 35–68.

it felt like it took quite a while, but i finally finished a complete first draft translation of Deligne's Hodge Theory III ! this means that all of Hodge Theory is now finished: I, II, and III 🎉
as you might notice, i still have a few little things to tidy up (e.g. PDF builds), but i'm gonna take a little break before coming back to those finishing touches

In 1947, Van Der Pol calculated 29 zeroes of the Riemann–Zeta function on the critical line... by electromechincal methods: spinning a specifically shaped disc at a specific frequency and shining light through to be received by a photocell. This is incredibly similar to how mechanical televisions work!

BOOK SWAP SEARCH
================
Through a concerted effort of repeated looking through the discard pile from the maths department library of [university redacted], I came across a gem: a paper copy of SGA 5 (pictured). I searched low and high but this was the only volume that I could find.
For my research, SGA **6** has so much relevant stuff all gathered in one place, and I would love to have a paper copy (it would also make translations more fun — less staring at a screen). I've searched around on every website I can think of but cannot find a physical copy for sale anywhere, not even just one copy for a ridiculous crazy price (which is usually what happens when searching for specific old books).
So here's my swap request: if anybody has, or can find, or can rescue from a library's discard pile, a copy of SGA 6 ("Théorie des Intersections et Théorème de Riemann-Roch", Springer LNM 225), then I would love to trade it for my copy of SGA 5 (pictured) and if you like then you can also have the printed copies of my translations of FGA and the Riemann–Roch/Chern classes 1958 papers by Borel–Serre and Grothendieck as a bonus for your troubles.
(I'm also interested if anybody can find a copy for sale, but I'm guessing that that's less likely!)

There is a bunch of very important work on complex geometry, from the 50s through to the 70s, by Grauert, Remmert, Forster, Knorr, and others, that exists (as far as I can tell) only in German. Some of these results are found in big (English-language) textbooks (especially those by Grauert and Remmert) but definitely not all. I think it would be super valuable to the community (however small it might be) to launch a translation project for these things.
So far all the translation I've ever done has just been me doing it in my free time for fun, but I'm running out of free time, and I'd also like to find ways to make this a valid project for other researchers to work on — translation, exposition, and history are things that are important!
Does anybody know any (UK/EU) funding sources that would be receptive to a grant application (however small) for such a project? Whether or not I would actually be able to write up a proposal is somewhat irrelevant — I realise that I just know very little about the actual professional landscape around the history and translation of mathematics!
