Bitcoin is half cycle, half self fulfilling prophecy and half election cycle dynamics.

I think we are finally seeing the effects of all that Strategy buying.

I think it’s important for something like a BIP-110 movement to be able to succeed. They just never really sold it. Just seemed like a bunch of hyper online people that worked themselves into a frenzy.

I always thought the Ledger criticism re the CSM breach was over the top. They can’t ship you a product if they don’t have your information and these databases are constantly compromised. I assume they picked a vendor with due diligence and still were burned. The key recovery fiasco maybe more concerning, but I don’t use it or LedgerLive so I’m personally unconcerned. My guess is both issues have NVK with a can full of gas and a handful of matches.

SeedSigner is a nice project @npub17ty…3mgl is not panecea. Everyone nodding in agreement towards one thing as some sort of safe haven to take for granted is what got us here in the first place.

Saylor buys CoinKite for essentially peanuts. Fixes what’s broken. Makes everyone that can verify whole in MSTR terms. We create a system where all manufacturers white hat each other relentlessly.

Not only is Coinkite responsible for the funds that were swept, but also they killed the positive momentum Bitcoin was finally building and potentially the losses we see now and well into future.

One @nprofile…fjwm feature that’s very useful but potentially forgotten is “Is it my address”. On desktop I like to use Sparrow but my MuSig hardware isn’t necessarily easy access to verify my receive address. A quick scan with BlueWallet for verification and then hit send.

Breedlove is an interesting cat to say the least. His verbal content is thoughtful, measured, occasionally entertaining. Then his odd workout body photos border on gay porn. Combined with leaving his pregnant wife for some hot chick. Very curious indeed.

If you’re at risk of ICE disappearing you, get your stored time value in #Bitcoin ASAP. When they spit you out the other end 12 words can be a life saver.

If the entire world convened now to come together in effort to create an equitable fair monetary system the best we could hope for coming out looks like Bitcoin. Gold is admirable in its analog properties but it is susceptible to fraud/counterfeit and it can’t be transacted globally without major friction. Which requires debt notes to ride on top. The clear choice is Bitcoin in hand.

2026-02-05 01:01:42 GMT

The Bitcoin dunking on Twitter is hilarious. Bitcoin is at ~73k. That’s pretty awesome. This is typical behavior. “The sentiment is worse than FTX/Luna dump”. Please give me a break.

Bitcoin bottoms are more informative than tops. Even a 32k bottom is a 2x over last halving. Also aligns with my 2x thesis. Next ATH will be 2x cruising altitude plus some adoption gravy.

Listening to this one now, and wanted to discuss the free speech section. I’ll just provide my thoughts in relation to US. The corporations can decide whatever they want to allow/disallow on their platform. That has nothing to do with 1A. The Government cannot tell them to remove US Citizens speech from said platforms. That is 1A. The Government can absolutely force them to remove foreign speech. There should be no interpretation that North Korea or Iran or even Australian citizens/entities have 1A rights in The US. I would even go a step farther and say the US Federal Government has a duty to protect the US from foreign speech/propaganda on US networks.

2024-11-24 19:08:10 GMT

We need to redouble efforts encouraging self custody. We need to stop drinking from the Saylor fountain. I’m a fan, I own MSTR. Bitcoin is not a function of Presidential elections or any other single entity. They are here for the same reason everyone else is. Exponentially decreasing supply flow.

2024-11-22 17:02:09 GMT

My Roth strategy is 7000/52 weekly DCA. I purchase FBTC until there’s enough to buy an MSTR share at which point I sell the FBTC. Through River I purchase a similar amount of spot Bitcoin. I leave it on exchange until I accumulate .01 at which point I move it to one of my wallets. I also have a fiat savings at River generating the 3.8% Bitcoin. Lastly I have an S19JPro heating my detached garage, laundry and kids playroom/workout room. AND an S9 at work space heating my office. The company provided a 1500w space heater and I’m only running the S9 at 650w. Win win in my book. If they don’t view it that way, well this is my 3rd cycle. They better watch their mouth.

2024-11-18 21:02:54 GMT

I can’t imagine selling anything of any sort of value like a used vehicle for anything other than #Bitcoin. Honestly buying with anything either. I had $6500 in my pocket in downtown Seattle 25 years ago. Jumped on a ferry and bought my 73 Ford Bronco. With all the scams I can’t even track anymore, let’s have a coffee and wait for confirmation on the time chain. We can exchange keys and title then.
