I live in Tehran and right now I wanted to take a shower but water was out :)
I think horrible management and "engineering" decision for the dams and water managements had a much bigger factor in this situation. Although the drought and climate change is undeniable.
We are also battling with horrible weather pollution, wild fires in the north of the country and much more.
I say the human race is going to shit and we are in one of the worse places.
Tge situation will get so horribly ugly for all of us that at some point we understand we have to correct our paths. And then rebuild our societies and civilizations again.
Interesting times we are living in...

I don't think we can market accessibility as a good business practice with good ROI.
In most cases, it really isn't. The effort it takes to make a system really accessible compared to the return is really big.
It's more of a humanitarian act. That we shouldn't leave out a minority of people out of our world, over things they had no control over. Even if it means losing some profit in the process.
This actually goes for a lot of things, not only accessibility.
I don't think it's a good idea to coat it as a great decision for your business, but we should endorse it as what it is, an ethical thing.

No I mean even though Elon was born in africa, he's not African. He's just a colonist that was there.
Same as "Americans" who are British people that just killed all the true Americans and took over the land.

خیلی عالیه. همیشه دوره هاتو توصیه میکنم به کسایی که میخوان شروع کنن.
ولی جادی جان در کنار این دوره های مقدماتی، خیلی دوست دارم‌ مطالب و دوره های تخصصی هم‌بذاری. یعنی نهایت و غایت چیزی که بلدی رو به اشتراک بذاری.
تجربه ی زیادی داری و خیلی ساله در این عرصه هستی، مطمئنم از لحاظ علمی و فنی هم خیلی چیزای ناب برای گفتن داری.
خوشحال میشم فارغ از این مطالبی که بقیه ی جاها هم پیدا میشه، اون چیزایی که پیدا نمیشه رو به اشتراک بذاری.
منظورم این نیست که اینا کم ارزشه. ولی به اون چیز های والاتر و فراتر از ابزار هم واقعا توی جامعه ی فنی و علمی و مهندسیمون نیاز داریم.

Guys I need #selfhosting advice.
I need to access the intranet and services in my office network from anywhere (for remote work and administration, etc.)
Currently I have #wireguard setup, and I give a config file to each team member. (One major problem is that config files dont have password and anyone who gets access to the config, gets access to my network).
I have heard a lot about #tailscale and #headscale but I don't understand what they do and how are they better?
