The Flokicoin halving is done.
Block 630,000: 250 → 125 FLC per block. Fewer new coins, every block.
Meanwhile, we've been building something.

FEP-01 — Zap Anyone, Anywhere.
We're proposing a protocol that makes Lightning payments as easy to send as an @ mention. Zap any Email, Discord ID, X handle, or phone number — no wallet required on the receiving end.
The recipient's funds wait in verifiable escrow, anchored to a deterministic hash of their social identifier (a ConnectionKey). When they show up and prove ownership, the ZSP sweeps the sats directly to their node. No custodian. No platform. Every receipt is a signed Nostr event anyone can verify.
Two open roles power the system:
- Identity Authority: links legacy accounts to Nostr pubkeys via signed attestations (Kind 35522)
- Zap Settlement Provider: issues Zap Receipts (Kind 5521) and manages Lightning liquidity
Both are permissionless. Anyone can run one. The protocol is chain-agnostic — Bitcoin and Flokicoin (Loki) both supported natively.
This is a direct continuation of the Web of Fun vision: value flows where people already are, not where a platform decides.

⚡️ SOMETHING IS BREWING...
The Flokicoin ecosystem is building as a puzzle, and the last part has been accomplished. While the lab has been quiet, the mission to build a permissionless and decentralized internet has never stopped.
Now, we are asking the actors of this ecosystem to put their hands into the colors and help draw the experiences for the Next Web.
Flokicoin is built to last as an energy-backed coin that will remain alive eternally—even if you try mining it with a candle. 😉 Don't follow the FUD.
🔍 WHAT’S COMING?
🔹 Flokicoin Core (lokid) v0.25.12-alpha
🔹 tWallet v1.0.9-beta
🔹 Lokihub
🔹 Web of Fun (WoF) & FEPs
We are opening the doors to redesign everyday internet services using the Nostr protocol and work-backed economies.
