🚨 Bitcoin Mining 101 | Bangalore 🇮🇳 | July 5, 2025
📍@npub1m49…u22l Bitspace Bangalore
Bitcoin is going to be pivotal in the 4th Turning—It is going turn a positive in so many lives not because we are advocating hard but because we as humanity have own grown Fiat Money.
Bitcoin doesn’t need to be pushed—it simply reveals itself to those ready. And education is the first touchpoint. And if mining is the foundation, then India—the world’s most populous nation—is where the next chapter begins. Why? Because the appetite is here. The curiosity is here. The numbers are here.
At OurPool, we believe that Bitcoin education doesn’t begin with price charts — it begins with sats, watts, and nonce. That’s why we did Bitcoin Mining 101 at @npub1m49…u22l where Sunil Kumar unpacked :
🔹 Bitcoin’s genesis block & Proof-of-Work
🔹 Nonce, timestamp, block templates, mempool, UTXOs
🔹 Live mining demos with BitAxe, Canaan , Braiins
🔹 Payout models (FPPS, PPS, PPLNS), fee dynamics
🔹 Tools like mempool.space, stratum.work
🙌 Huge shoutout to @npub1m49…u22l for orchestrating this powerful event to spark real-world learning.
✅ Next Steps:
India can’t afford to watch from the sidelines while neighbors like Bhutan and Pakistan embrace mining. It’s time to tell policymakers, entrepreneurs, and institutions — we’re ready.
Also, bitcoin on Corporate Balance Sheets: Where is India’s Strategy? Shoutout to all Indian publicly listed companies: Bitcoin is running out fast. There will only ever be 21 million.
Looking up to pioneers like Jetking Infotrain Limited for kickstarting this movement in India.
If you’re in India and resonate with this mission — whether you're a miner, educator, policymaker, developer, researcher or investor or simply a Bitcoiner who cares about sovereignty — let’s collaborate.
We need Bitcoin maxis across spheres to push this forward.

Wrapped up an incredible panel “Building Bitcoin Organizations” at the BitPlebs Summit Goa, alongside Varun Chawla, Pratik Kumar, Adi Shankara, Saurabh and Shambhavi Soni.
We dug deep into the realities of building ventures around Bitcoin—sharing our experiences, challenges, and lessons learned along the way. Some key takeaways from our discussion:
✅ Navigating Regulations – The ever-evolving landscape and what it means for Bitcoin-focused businesses.
✅ Managing Bitcoin Finances – Balancing self-custody, treasury management, and operational expenses.
✅ Sustaining Open-Source Bitcoin Projects – Practical strategies to ensure long-term success while staying aligned with Bitcoin’s ethos.
Each of us brought our own perspective—from running startups, investing in Bitcoin companies, and contributing to open-source projects.
A huge shoutout to @npub1m49…u22l and @nprofile…3zp3 for curating such a high-signal event and to my fellow panelists for the engaging discussion.

Maribor, Slovenia 🇸🇮 | November 8-9: NiceHashX Bitcoin Conference
I had the privilege of presenting the keynote “Bitcoin class of 2017” and dropping some major truth bombs! Dove into Bitcoin’s transformational role in global energy security and its path to economic sovereignty, inspired by thinkers like Max Keiser and Jason Lowery, and how its mining network promotes efficient, sustainable energy use. Also highlighted the high standards and fierce principles that unite Bitcoiners but sometimes challenge newcomers—especially when the broader industry throws around misleading labels.
Also touched on Bitcoin’s multifaceted potential—as a store of value, payments network (via Lightning), and “freedom tech”—all essential to fostering economic sovereignty and resilience. And also tried to bust the myth that - if you’re building on Bitcoin today, securing VC funding can feel like climbing Everest in flip-flops. 😅
I got to reconnect with @npub1sn0…tr2x , @npub1lr2…dl6a , @npub1jt9…la9y , @npub1fk8…cwld and meet incredible people like @npub198q…twcp, Anja, General Kanobi, Dr. Jan Wüstenfeld, Riccardo Giorgio Frega, Lucas Infeld, Katherine Warec, Gabriel Kozák, Sunil Kumar , Dusan Matuska and Pierre Corbin .
It was exhilarating to connect with innovative founders like Maximilian Obwexer (21energy), Ivan Mircetic (Freefall ATM GmbH), Emmanuel Montero and Matteo S.
Huge props to Nina Kladnik, Lara Ucakar and the entire NiceHash team for putting together such a stellar event. Maribor was the perfect backdrop.
Who said Bitcoin conferences can't be both educational AND entertaining? Not me!

I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of the OpenHours 2024 Program by Openspace Ventures!
I had the privilege of being mentored by the incredible Shiyan Koh from Hustle Fund. Her wisdom, guidance, and experience have been invaluable in helping me navigate this space with greater confidence.
It’s incredibly inspiring to see more women stepping into the VC space, ready to disrupt, innovate, and lead, and I’m excited to be part of the force driving this change. Let’s break the mold, redefine the landscape, and build a more inclusive, powerful ecosystem that drives transformation across Southeast Asia and beyond.
