I just got an xteink 4 little e-reader that I'm hoping to use to replace doom scrolling and this seems so perfect. Thanks for sharing!

I mean, they are "so-called" superstars because they have long histories of winning to back it up.
We are free to say that the US (who failed to qualify for the 2018 WC) are a solid team this year without having to imply that Brazil, Spain, and Portugal are not legitimate football powerhouses.

we should rezone the GVDR to target single family detached homes for redevelopment rather than the current strategy employed by Township of Langley of deforesting all of Brookswood for even more detached single family homes

thanks! I appreciate your encouragement to stop and look at the flowers, it genuinely helped my day turn around.
Also, kind of random and I'm not sure if this is something you'd be interested in, but figured I'd share in case it's up your alley

I did! It was really cool that the song itself was part of the audiobook! Everyone looks like they're having the time of their lives, I'll bet it was so much fun writing and performing the song and being in the video!

so excited for this book, it sounds amazing! Has anyone thanked you lately for being really cool? Your books honestly inspire me. I'm listening to "The Future of Another Timeline" and was inspired to dive into feminist punk bands, and now my current fave is Cheap Perfume!

I have been absolutely swamped and unable to register or follow #FediForum, but has anyone been discussing @npub14rp…za3l?
The more I look into it, the more I feel like it has the potential to be a successor to Mastodon (at least in terms of software, not necessarily "the brand" of a platform).
I don't know if people are building on it, but if I were a software dev, that's absolutely where I'd be spending my time these days.

I'm so excited that you are moving to Vancouver! Have you gone to any hand pulled noodle shops? There's one in the chain you mention in Automatic Noodle that is right off the SkyTrain at MetroTown, located in the Crystal Palace mall (which is an absolute treasure and such a fun place to experience)!

it feels like Bill Clinton economics for the 2020's. We'll call it "abundance", because that's what our larger economy might experience, but the lived reality for actual humans is going to be that everything just gets slowly and consistently worse.

Maybe there are some #Canada based #fediverse devs already working on this, but I so wish there was a publishing platform that was #ActivityPub and #socialweb first, and specifically for public institutions in 🇨🇦
Very similar to how #Ghost works (built-in to core). Followable anywhere on the social web. Bus route updates, water restriction updates, weather alerts...one domain per municipality, difft accts per agency.
This is a national security issue if Musk & Co can cut off our govt comms.
